Abstract

This article discusses the application of the analogy concepts in the short stories series of Kembang Pasren by Impian Nopitasari as a cultural discourse study. The aim is to find and describe the application of such analogies used by the author therein and their relations to the complexity of Javanese culture. This article uses a descriptive qualitative approach and the data were collected using literature study method and reading and writing techniques. The data were analyzed using discourse analysis theories of analogy concept related to Javanese culture. The result showsthat the analogy concepts applied in the short stories series are the analogy of similarity of traits, the analogy of symbol resemblance and the analogy of similarity of state of being.AbstrakArtikel ini membahas pemanfaatan prinsip analogi kumpulan cerkak Kembang Pasren karya Impian Nopitasari dalam tinjauan wacana budaya. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai adalah menemukan dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana pemanfaatan analogi yang diwacanakan dan direpresentasikan oleh Impian Nopitasari dalam kumpulan cerkak Kembang Pasren dan keterkaitannya dengan nuansa Jawa yang melekat dalam diri  masyarakatnya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yangmenggunakan metode penyediaan data berupa metode pustaka dengan teknik simak dan catat. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori analisis wacana, khususnya merujuk pada pemanfaatan prinsip analogi yang kental dengan nilai dan nuansa budaya Jawa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prinsip analogi dalam kumpulan cerkak Kembang Pasren ini berupa analogi persamaan sifat, analogi persamaan simbol, dan analogi persamaan keadaan.

Abstract

Abstract The sense of speech can be different from the context of speech. There is also a need for further research using pragmatics. The purpose of this study was to identify the forms of Illocutionary Speech Analysis in the film "Jembatan Pensil, Belajar Pada Alam." The analysis approach used a qualitative descriptive approach with a view and note methodology. The findings of this research included the discovery of 18 forms of verbal speech acts, 4 forms of clerical speech acts and 13 types of Directive speech acts. The results of the findings indicate that the use of illocutionary speech actions, particularly expressive, commissive, and directive in the film "Jembatan Pensil, Belajar Pada Alam" tends to be able to offer or express the speaker's image, intent, and feelings to the partner.   Abstrak Makna sebuah tuturan bisa jadi akan berbeda dengan konteks tuturannya. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya pengkajian lebih lanjut yaitu dengan menggunakan ilmu pragmatik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk Analisis Tindak Tutur Ilokusi dalam Film “Jembatan Pensil, Belajar Pada Alam”. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik simak dan catat. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah ditemukannya 18 jenis tindak tutur ekspresif, 4 jenis tindak tutur komisif dan 13 jenis tindak tutur direktif. Adapun dari hasil temuan tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa penggunaan tindak tutur ilokusi, khususnya ekspresif, komisif, dan direktif dalam film “Jembatan Pensil, Belajar Pada Alam” ini cenderung mampu memberikan atau mengungkapkan gambaran, maksud, maupun perasaan penutur terhadap mitra tuturnya.

Abstract

This study discusses the wise advice related to Sufism aspects conveyed by Raden Panji Natarata which is packaged in Sêrat Bayanullah based on the character of each têmbang. The purpose of this research is to describe Raden Panji Natarata’s mindset as outlined in the rhetoric of têmbang-têmbang macapat. The method employed descriptive qualitative. The results showed that Raden Panji Natarata was quite skilled at mixing and matching his stories into a da’wah field according to the characteristics of the têmbang. Of the various têmbang macapat presented in this Sêrat Bayanullah, Raden Panji Natarata did not use têmbang durma. This was because têmbang durma has a character that tends to be harsh and angry so that it is not in accordance with the content of the da’wah proclaimed by Raden Panji Natarata. Thus, this locality nuanced da’wah element has an aesthetic and humanistic impression. As the title embedded in this literary work, Sêrat Bayanullah means the explanation of the chapter of Allah. Thus, it is hoped that this literary work can be a reference for understanding the nature of the chapter of Allah.
