Abstract

Based on the annual report of the Public Health Service in 2008 Banyumas mention visits from the distribution by age group in the case of some 28% of HIV and AIDS as much as 20% occurred at age 15-24 years, and 12% are in the teens caused by the heteroseksual. Nine sexual behaviors for the discovery of cases of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) by age group most widely found in the youth group is 40,74%. This study aims to determine the sexual behavior of adolescents and high school in Purwokerto factors-factors that influence it, namely the knowledge level of adolescents, adolescent attitudes toward sexuality, adolescent attitudes toward adolescent reproductive health services, the role of parent, peer behavior, and pornography. This type of research is survey with research descriptive analytical research design.Approach in this study is cross sectional. Research subjects were high school teenagers Purwokerto some 250 respondents. Data collection using questionnaires. Adolescent sexual behavior in high school Purwokerto majority (87,2%) no risk of unwanted pregnancy. There is a youth reproductive health knowledge, attitudes toward adolescent sexuality, adolescent attitudes toward reproductive health services, the role of parents, peers and the behavior of media access to pornography on sexual behavior of high school adolescents in Purwokerto. Variables studied, an influential effect on adolescent sexual behavior obtained significant variables with 95% confidence level associated with adolescent sexual behavior that is low knowledge with OR = 13,130. And the possible influence of the probability is 65%.   Key words: adolescent,sexual behavior, knowledge, attitudes, the role of parent.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Gejala-gejala psikologis pada lansia salah satu diantaranya adalah kecemasan. Cemas merupakan reaksi terhadap persepsi adanya bahaya baik yang nyata maupun yang hanya dibayangkan. Rasa khawatir, gelisah, takut, was-was, tidak tentram, panik dan sebagainya merupakan gejala umum akibat cemas. Tingkat kecemasan yang dirasakan oleh lansia dapat diturunkan dengan berbagai cara, salah satunya menggunakan metode teknik relaksasi pernafasan yang mengandung unsur penenangan diri yaitu terapi Benson. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui efektifitas terapi benson terhadap pengurangan kecemasan pada lansia di Kelurahan Karang Klesem Kecamatan Purwokerto Selatan  Kabupaten Banyumas Tahun 2015. Jenis penelitian  ini adalah pre eksperimental. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah one group comparrison pretest-posttest design. Populasi penelitian  adalah  seluruh  lansia sebanyak 65 orang dengan jumlah sampel 40 lansia. Prosedur pengambilan sampel menggunakan consecutive sampling. Analisis bivariat menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil: Mayoritas responden sebelum dan setelah dilakukan terapi Benson mempunyai kecemasan ringan yaitu 13 orang (32,5%), Mayoritas responden setelah dilakukan terapi Benson mempunyai kecemasan ringan yaitu 15 orang (37,5%), ada perbedaan signifikan tingkat kecemasan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan Terapi Benson (p=0,000) Kesimpulan: Terapi Benson efektif untuk menurunkan tingkat kecemasan pada Lansia di Kelurahan Karang Klesem Kecamatan Purwokerto Selatan Kabupaten Banyumas. Kata Kunci : Terapi Benson, Kecemasan, Lansia EFFECTIVENESS OF THERAPY BENSON TO DECREASE THE LEVEL OF ANXIETY IN THE ELDERLY IN VILLAGE KARANG KLESEM, SOUTH PURWOKERTO DISTRICT, DISTRICT BANYUMAS ABSTRACT Psychological symptoms in the elderly one of which is anxiety. Anxiety is a reaction to the perception of the danger of either real or just imagined. Worry, anxiety, fear, anxiety, not peace, panic and so on are common symptoms due to anxiety. The level of anxiety felt by older people can be derived in various ways, one of them using breathing relaxation technique that contain elements that cooling-off Benson therapy. The objective of this study was to determine the effectiveness of therapy benson to the reduction of anxiety in the elderly in the village of Karang Klesem District of South Purwokerto, Banyumas regency 2015. This type of research was pre-experimental. The approach used was one group pretest-posttest design comparrison. The study population was the entire group of 65 elderly people with a sample of 40 elderly. The sampling procedure used consecutive sampling. Bivariate analysis used Wilcoxon test. Results: The majority of the respondents before and after therapy Benson has mild anxiety which 13 (32.5%), majority of respondents after Benson had mild anxiety therapy that 15 (37.5%), no significant differences in anxiety levels before and after Benson carried therapy (p=0.000). Conclusion: Benson effective therapy to reduce the level of anxiety in the elderly in the village of Karang Klesem District of South Purwokerto, Banyumas Regency.
