Abstract

AbstractThis writing discusses the Rebo Wekasan offering tradition speech acts in Dusun Nangtung, Sumedang Regency from a pragmatic point of view using a qualitativedescriptive method. Data were collected by means of documentation, observation, and interviews. The results show that the Rebo Wekasan program contains speech acts offerings in the form of locution, illocutionary, and perlocution. Locutionary speech act was indicated in the form of declarative utterance by the interlocutor. Illocutionary speech acts was contained in direct and assertive type of utterance. The utterance has the purpose to remind all residents of Dusun Nangtung to always be grateful for the blessings The Lord has given. Perlocutionary speech act wasindicated by the hearer’s doing what is stated in illocutionary speech acts. The speech acts of offering in Rebo Wekasan tradition contain humans devotion to God, respect for other humans, and harmony between humans and nature. It is in the form of devotion from humans to God. Humans are seen as small creatures to always worship God according to His rules and regulations. AbstrakKajian ini membahas tindak tutur tradisi persembahan Rebo Wekasan di Dusun Nangtung Kabupaten Sumedang dalam tinjauan pragmatik. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif-deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara dokumentasi, observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa acara Rebo Wekasan mengandung tindak tutur persembahan berupa lokusi, ilokusi, dan perlokusi. Lokusi ditandai dengan ucapan berbentuk kalimat deklaratif oleh lawan tutur. Tindak tutur ilokusi ditandai dengan tindak tutur langsung yang berjenis asertif. Tuturantersebut memiliki tujuan menyatakan agar seluruh warga Dusun Nangtung untuk selalu bersyukur atas nikmat yang diberikan-Nya. Tindak tutur perlokusi ditandai  oleh tanggapan lawan tutur yang melakukan tindakan atas apa yang dinyatakan pada tindak tutur ilokusi. Tindak tutur persembahan pada tradisi Rebo Wekasan mengandung pengabdian manusia terhadap Tuhan, penghormatan manusia kepada manusia, dan pengharmonisan manusia dengan alam. Hal tersebut berupa sembah pengabdian dari manusia kepada Tuhan. Manusia dipandang kecil sebagai makhluk Tuhan untuk selalu beribadah sesuai dengan aturan dan kaidahnya.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low argumentation skills of students, which are marked by not being accustomed to expressing their opinions. One way to improve students' argumentation skills is to use a problem-based learning model assisted by interactive videos. The purpose of this study was to describe the influence of the problem-based learning model assisted by interactive videos on the argumentation skills of grade IV students of SDN Jatihurip, Sumedang Utara District, Sumedang Regency in the 2023/2024 academic year on the material of Gravitational Force. The method used in this study was a pre-experimental type of one group pretest-posttest design. The data collection technique in this study was a test technique consisting of a pretest and posttest. Based on the results of data analysis through the t-test, the t-value is 3.16 ≥ t-table 2.01, so H1 is accepted and Ho is rejected, meaning that there is a significant difference in pretest and posttest values ​​from the application of the interactive video-assisted problem-based learning model on the argumentation skills of grade IV students of SDN Jatihurip, Sumedang Utara District, Sumedang Regency in the 2023/2024 Academic Year on the material of gravitational force. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of the interactive video-assisted problem-based learning model has a significant effect on the argumentation skills of grade IV students of SDN Jatihurip, Sumedang Utara District, Sumedang Regency in the 2023/2024 Academic Year on the material of gravitational force.
