Abstract

Silfovishery is a fishery farming model that maintains the natural habitat of mangrove forests as a living medium for biota. The Indragiri Hilir Regency Government through the Fisheries Service in the 2018 budget year conducted a feasibility study of crab farming using the silvofishery method. In addition, Indragiri Hilir Regency is also very enthusiastic in carrying out the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in accordance with the mandate of Presidential Regulation Number 59 of 2017 concerning Implementation of the Achievement of Sustainable Development Goals. this study is a desk review of planning cultivation activities with silvofishry and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. The implementation of aquaculture with silvofishery models can support the achievement of SDGs in the Environmental Pillar (5 indicators), Social (2 indicators) and Economy (1 indicator).

Abstract

Presidential Decree No. 59 Year 2017 on the implementation of the SDGs in Indonesia is mandatory and request the stakeholder’s commitment. Integrating SDGs into development planing requires reliable data and statistical. This researsch aims to determine the avaibility of data that in line with SDGs. Base on this research obtained information that available 65 data in line with SDGs Indicator, consists of 60 data items TIER I and 5 data items will be Developed indicator cause out of the district autority.

Abstract

The Kempas District is one of the area that has the opportunity to develop food commodities, namely rice, especially wet rice. The rice productivity of Kempas District is higher than other districts in Indragiri Hilir Regency with a productivity yield of 39.96 kw / ha with an area of 2,300 ha. This study aimed to (1) determine the performance of agricultural instructors; (2) find out the level of farmer empowerment and farmer independence. This research was carried out in Kempas Jaya Village, Kempas District, Indragiri Hilir Regency for three months, October 2017 - December 2017. The type of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from interviews and questionnaires. Secondary data were obtained from information related to agricultural extension in Kempas District and online journals. The research method is quantitative through 30 rice farmers in Kempas Jaya District. Analysis of the data used in this study is descriptive analysis with a Likert scale. The results showed (1) the performance of extension workers in Kempas Jaya was "quite good" with a percentage of 73.3%; (2) the level of empowerment of farmers in Kempas Jaya village is "very empowered" with a percentage of 60.0% and the independence of farmers in Kempas Jaya village is "Very Independent" with a percentage of 60.0%.
