Household waste is the largest contributor to waste in the community. Training on making used cooking oil soap is a method taken for this community service activity. The main objective of this training activity is so that people can utilize used cooking oil waste into items that can be used again. The methods used in this training activity are lectures and small group discussions. Making soap from waste is actually very easy, namely by mixing NaOH, used cooking oil and fragrance. The mixture of ingredients is then stirred for about 15-20 minutes and then left for about two weeks until it completely hardens. Used cooking oil soap can be used as hand washing soap and dish washing soap. Extension activities give a different impression to the people who take part in these activities. Based on participant interviews, the mothers felt happy because they could use used cooking oil waste to make soap. It can be concluded that this soap making training is beneficial for the local community, especially housewive.

This research examines the use of social media to increase the attractiveness and sales of MSME products in Pidodowetan Village. Through a marketing digitalization seminar held on 8 August 2024 at the Pidodowetan Village Hall, MSME players were provided with knowledge and practical skills on digital marketing. The seminar covered materials on product branding, business management, and marketing strategies with a focus on the use of social media such as Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp. The results showed that the seminar was highly beneficial to the participants, with a high level of enthusiasm evident from active participation in the discussions. The program is designed to provide long-term impact through continued coaching and community support, aimed at driving local economic growth and creating a new generation of entrepreneurs who are competitive in the digital age.

Dish soap is a basic necessity whose demand continues to increase. Dish soap making training has proven to be an effective effort in empowering communities, especially women, and encouraging economic independence. This activity not only transfers new knowledge and skills, but also opens up sustainable business opportunities. By utilizing local ingredients, the community can produce quality dish soap at a more affordable cost. By producing their own, the community not only saves expenses, but also has full control over the quality of the products produced. In addition, this dish soap making training can also strengthen solidarity and increase the added value of local products.
