Abstract

Damage to coral reefs is generally caused by destructive fishing activities, they were the usega of explosives, cyanide toxic materials, coral mining for building materials, anchor boat anchors, and the results of sedimentation. Efforts to speed up the process of coral reef recovery, several methods of rehabilitation that can be done include coral transplantation and sinking of artificial reefs. The artificial reef is an alternative to reduce the pressure caused by fishing and destruction of natural coral reefs through the creation of new productive fishing grounds. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of water parameters (physical oceanography) for biota around artificial reefs based on Geographic Information Systems. The results of identification of oceanographic parameters in the waters of Damas Beach, Trenggalek Regency consist of: (a). depths range from 0-45 meters, (b). brightness ranges from 2 - 6 meters, (c). water temperature ranges from 25.18-29.59ºC, (d). water turbidity ranges from 0.3-4.32 NTU, (e). type of substrate base waters of Damas Beach fine black sand, (f). current speed ranges from 0.1-0.4 m/s, (h). the average wave height of Damas Beach in the morning, afternoon and evening is 5.6 cm, 8.14 cm and 6.2 cm, (i). the total suspended solid waters of Damas Beach range from 35-351 mg/L. The physical oceanographic parameters are still safe for the growth and development of biota in the waters of Damas Beach, Trenggalek Regency.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology is beneficial to all areas of life, where through information technology the process of collecting, processing data to presenting information becomes very fast, precise and accurate. This development makes computer science an integral part of human life. Computers are generally used for processing data to produce information. With the many conveniences that can be obtained by using this computerized system, not a few organizations have implemented this computerized system. Computer systems enable organizations to manage large amounts of data and information, thereby of course helping organizations make decisions quickly and accurately in determining organizational strategies and policies. The current development of information technology also makes competition between institutions in terms of service quality an added value in attracting the interest of all stakeholders because transparency, accountability and quality of information will be more effective and efficient.

Abstract

Karangawen State Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) is a junior secondary level formal education institution which is geographically located in Karangawen Village, Karangawen District, Demak Regency, with a total of around 800 students divided into 25 classes. This Madrasah has been officially established since 1997. With a large number of students, MTs Negeri has been supported by facilities and infrastructure capable of supporting the process of teaching and learning activities as well as administrative activities. Currently MTs Negeri Karangawen already has 20 units of computers in one computer laboratory equipped with a computer network to support teaching and learning activities. In the field of administration, it has also been supported by 5 units of computers that are used by administrative staff in order to serve all teaching and learning process activities, including in the service of student financial payments.

Abstract

Abstract: This workshop activity aims to improve students' understanding and skills in compiling and designing official letters in accordance with applicable writing rules. The workshop was held at SMK Negeri 1 Setia Janji with participants from various departments. The material presented includes the format of official letters, the language used, and good and correct layout. In its implementation, participants were guided directly using Microsoft Office Word software as the main tool in making official letters. The training method was carried out through material presentation, case studies, and direct practice. The evaluation results showed an increase in students' understanding of the structure of official letters and technical skills in designing letters using Microsoft Word features. This workshop is expected to be a practical provision for students in facing formal administrative needs both in the world of education and the world of work. In addition, this activity also encourages students to be more accustomed to using word processing applications professionally. Keywords: workshop; official letter; SMK; microsoft word. Abstrak: Kegiatan workshop ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa dalam menyusun serta mendesain surat resmi sesuai dengan kaidah penulisan yang berlaku. Workshop dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 1 Setia Janji dengan melibatkan peserta dari berbagai jurusan. Materi yang disampaikan meliputi format surat resmi, penggunaan bahasa yang tepat, serta tata letak yang baik dan benar. Dalam pelaksanaannya, peserta dibimbing secara langsung menggunakan perangkat lunak Microsoft Office Word sebagai alat utama dalam pembuatan surat resmi. Metode pelatihan dilakukan melalui penyampaian materi, studi kasus, dan praktik langsung. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap struktur surat resmi serta keterampilan teknis dalam mendesain surat menggunakan fitur-fitur Microsoft Word. Workshop ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bekal praktis bagi siswa dalam menghadapi kebutuhan administrasi formal baik di dunia pendidikan maupun dunia kerja. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga mendorong siswa untuk lebih terbiasa menggunakan aplikasi pengolah kata secara profesional. Kata kunci: workshop; surat resmi; SMK; Microsoft Word.
