Abstract

Abstrak - Penelitian ini berjudul Analisis Manajemen Produksi Program Berita “Seputar Aceh” di RCTI Aceh. Manajemen produksi program bertujuan untuk mengatur strategi tim produksi untuk menjalankan proses produksi yang lebih baik. Program berita sangat wajib dimiliki oleh seluruh stasiun televisi karena menjadi pilihan masyarakat untuk mendapatkan informasi. Oleh sebab itu, tidak mudah dalam menjalankan manajemen produksi program berita. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana manajemen produksi yang diterapkan dalam program berita “Seputar Aceh” di RCTI Aceh. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori strukturasi dari Anthony Giddens dengan fokus penelitian manajemen program. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan wawancara semi terstruktur terhadap beberapa informan, observasi non participant, dan dokumentasi. Pemilihan informan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive, yaitu menentukan informan berdasarkan dengan beberapa kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, manajemen produksi program yang diterapkan dalam program berita “Seputar Aceh” sudah berjalan sesuai dengan prosedur standar manajemen produksi program, tetapi ada sedikit perbedaan manajemen produksi RCTI Aceh dengan RCTI pusat. Manajemen yang diterapkan meliputi perencanaan program, produksi program, eksekusi program, dan evaluasi program. Meskipun program berita “Seputar Aceh” sudah menerapkan standar manajemen program, tetapi masih  ditemukan beberapa kendala selama proses produksi.Kata Kunci: Manajemen Produksi Program, “Seputar Aceh” RCTI Aceh Abstract - This study, entitled Analysis of Production Management News Program "Seputar Aceh" in RCTI Aceh. Production management program aims to regulate the production team's strategy to run the production process better. News program must be owned by all TV stations for people's choice to get information. Therefore, it is not easy to run a news program production management. This study aims to determine how production management applied in the news program "Seputar Aceh" in RCTI Aceh. The theory used is the structuration theory by Anthony Giddens with a focus on program management. The method used in this research is qualitative method with descriptive approach. Data collection is done by interviews with several informants, non-participant observation, and documentation. The interviews were conducted by using purposive, determining informant based with some predetermined criteria. Based on the research, production management programs implemented in the news program "Seputar Aceh" has been running in accordance with standard procedures production management program, but there is little difference in production management between RCTI Aceh and RCTI central (Jakarta). Applied management includes program planning, program production, program execution, and evaluation of programs. Although the news program "Seputar Aceh" is already implementing program management standards, but still found some obstacles during the production process.Keyword: Production Management Program, “Seputar Aceh” RCTI Aceh

Abstract

Medan State Polytechnic, as one of the leading vocational universities in Medan City, plays a crucial role in producing graduates who are ready to work and possess applied competencies according to industry needs. One of the strategic departments is the Computer Engineering and Informatics Department, which focuses on developing students' abilities in technology and programming. Programming courses are an important foundation in developing students' analytical and logical skills. However, many students still experience difficulties in understanding basic programming concepts, which results in low academic achievement and learning motivation. This study aims to identify patterns of student understanding in programming courses using the Decision Tree algorithm as a classification method. Through a data mining approach, this study attempts to extract hidden patterns from students' academic data to identify factors that influence their level of understanding. The Decision Tree algorithm was chosen because it is able to produce classification models that are easy to understand and interpret, and is effective in handling both categorical and numerical data. The research data was processed using Google Collaboratory with the help of the scikit-learn library. The testing process was carried out through the formation of a classification model, decision tree visualization, and confusion matrix analysis to measure model performance. Based on the test results, an accuracy value of 50% and an F1-score of 51.68% were obtained, indicating that the Decision Tree model has a good ability to predict and classify students' level of understanding of programming courses. Overall, this research provides an important contribution to the development of data-based learning strategies in vocational education environments. Through the results obtained, lecturers are expected to be able to adjust teaching methods according to student characteristics and abilities, so that the learning process becomes more adaptive, effective, and has a positive impact on improving student understanding of programming courses.
