Abstract

Shopping Center adalah area khusus yang dibangun berisi sekumpulan usaha retail yang dikunjungi untuk membeli atau melihat kebutuhan ekonomi masyarakat. Sekarang ini shopping center tidak hanya digunakan berbelanja saja, fungsi shopping center juga sebagai tempai rekreasi selain itu juga tempat bersosialisasi bagi pengunjung baik dengan keluarag maupun teman. Perancangan Shopping Center di Banda Aceh ini dirancang dengan penerapan tema arsitektur tropis. Arsitektur tropis mengadaptasi kondisi iklim dan cuaca, lokasi bangunan, serta dampak, maupun pengaruhnya terhadap lingkungan sekitar yang tropis. Tema arsitektur tropis sangat cocok dengan iklim Indonesia terutama iklim di Kota Banda Aceh dan juga mengajarkan tentang keselarasan antara manusia dengan alam.Design of Shopping Center in Banda Aceh (Theme: Tropical Architectur)Shopping center is a bunch of retails visited to buy or see and comparing the goods in meet the needs of economic community social. Currenly shopping center is not only used for shopping, the funtion of shopping center is also for recreation place and sociable for the good with family and friends. Design shopping center in banda aceh is designed by the application of the theme of tropical architecture. Tropical architecture oriented climate and weather conditions, building location, and the impacts, or affect on the environment tropical. The tropical architecture theme appropriated to the state of climate indonesia specifically climate in Banda Aceh City and also teach about an alignment between people to nature.
