<![CDATA[The aim of the study was to analyze the implementation of good Corporate governance policy implemented in the PT Bank Sulteng and its effect to the performance achievement as the public bank, as well as factors that effected the implementation policy. The study was conducted using combination method of Concurrent embedded to describe the result of the study. The qualitative data collection employed observation, documentation, and interview, while the quantitative data collection was conducted using questionnaire distributed to 35 respondents determined through purposive sampling. Both data were used to investigate four variables encompassing communications, resources, disposition, and bureaucracy structure. The result analysis of this study revealed that the implementation of good corporate governance policy at PT Bank Sulteng was not sufficiently conducted that affected toward financial performance of PT Bank Sulteng which could not be achieved optimally and even significantly decreased from year 2010 to 2011, the design and implementation of communication elements, disposition, and Resources in relation to the principles of good corporate governance, i.e. transparency, accountability, responsibility, and fairness, were not well implemented; while the element of bureaucracy structure had been well implemented. Factors that affected the less optimal implementation of the policy were the apparatus attitude, leadership management style, and the affected of shareholder that weakening the bank management.  ]]>
