Abstract

The research of participatory aims to increase community participation in prevention of domestic violence, through counseling against gender based violence. Research location in Semarang. Data collection techniques using direct observation, interviews with counseling participants, pre test and post test. The results of the analysis show that, there is an increase in people's knowledge and understanding of the Law on the Elimination of Domestic Violence, the situation of gender based violence and the problem of assistance and government programs in the elimination of gender based violence. In addition, there is a change in attitude shown through participant participation in activities, the ability to explain and describe the material that has been conveyed by the resource person, conveying ideas and thoughts about the steps and solutions that can be done in removing gender-based violence, and then domestic violence. Therefore, a religious approach should be developed to reduce religious fundamentalism which is detrimental to women in various extension, socialization, campaign and other activities

Abstract

The phenomenon of the character of shame (al-haya’) is now very factual. The culture of shame slowly began to disappear with the global process of assimilation, the shameless character of the eastern culture began to adopt the character of western culture which resulted in the loss of shame. The impact of the loss of shame in a person is that all of his behavior is difficult to control and will commit a variety of dishonorable acts such as corruption, cheating, cheating, displaying the genitals with sexy and mini clothes, adultery, drunkenness, piracy, sexual harassment, murder and others. While Islam strongly emphasizes the character of shame as a good moral. This study aims to see how the concept of al-haya 'in the perspective of Islamic psychology through conceptual and empirical studies. The study in this study was carried out with two events namely, the first with a literature review and the second an empirical study. Literature studies include the study of the verses of the Koran, Hadith and opinions of Islamic leaders who discuss al-haya '. The second study is through an empirical way by conducting interviews with 2 Ustadz and 3 students majoring in Sufism and Psychotherapy who have successfully applied al-haya 'in their daily lives. This research is included in qualitative research with a grounded theory design. The results showed that al-haya 'which is interpreted by the research subjects is almost the same as what is contained in Islamic studies. Al-haya ’is a shame that is driven by respect and aversion to something that is seen as insulting or violating the principles of sharia. People who have the character of al-haya 'are those who want to do something deed but then undo their intentions because there are bad consequences that can reduce the dignity of himself in the eyes of respected people

Abstract

Islamic personality could be different with other personalities which cannot be explained completely by Western personality theory. For example, Western psychology might see the concept radicalism or suicide bombings as pathological, while in Islam, it is believed to be part of a behavior that reflects self-actualization. The aim of the research is to develop and develop instruments that can measure the Islamic Personality Scale (IPS) based on the theoretical framework of personality according to Islamic teachings and test the validity and reliability of this study. The research subjects were 550 students from three different universities who were selected by quota sampling. Data is obtained through testing of measuring instruments, internal validity and development of measuring instruments. Data is analyzed using Cronbach's Alpha and Confirmatory Factor Analysis. The results showed that the scale has high reliability. Islamic personality in the research subjects included ammarah, lawwamah, and mutmainah personality.
