Abstract

Problems : Hyperuricemia caused because of an increasing uric acid in the blood which exceeds the normal limit, which is more than 7.0 mg/dl in men and 6.0 mg/dl in women. The prevalence of hyperuricemia in Indonesia is 7.3%, in South Sumatra it is 6.48%. One of the non-pharmacological treatments that can be given to patients with hyperuricemia is giving pineapple and soursop leaves pudding. The Aim Of The Research: The goal of this study is to see if giving pineapple and soursop leaves to hyperuricemic patients lowers their uric acid level. Research Method : this study uses a quasi – experimental design pretest and posttest with a control group. This study took place in Palembang’s Sosial Public Health Center from January to April 2022. In this study, the sample was chosen via random sampling selection, with a total of 39 respondents in the comparison and treatment group. The independent sample t-test and paired sample t-test were used to analyze the data. The Result : with average difference p - value of uric acid levels between the comparison group and the treatment group (p- value = 0.000). The independent sample t-test resulted in a p-value = 0.000. Conclusion : This means that giving pineapple and soursop leaves pudding has an effect on lowering levels of uric acid in hyperuricemic patients, with the average difference in uric acid level of the comparison group being lower than the treatment group.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus merupakan gangguan kesehatan yang berupa kumpulan gejala yang disebabkan oleh peningkatan kadar gula (glukosa) darah atau hiperglikemia akibat kekurangan atau resistensi insulin.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran Asupan Zat Gizi Makro, Status Gizi dan Kadar Glukosa Darah pada Penderita Diabetes Mellitus Tipe 2 di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sosial Palembang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan desain penelitian cross sectional, dan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel Purposive Sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu 46 orang dengan cadangan 10% menjadi 50 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar penderita berusia 50-64 tahun sebanyak 60,0%, berjenis kelamin perempuan sebanyak 64,0%, berpendidikan menengah sebanyak 64,0%, asupan energi kategori baik sebanyak 72,0%, asupan protein kategori baik sebanyak 68,0%, asupan lemak pada kategori baik sebanyak 66,0%, asupan karbohidrat pada kategori baik sebanyak 70,0%, indeks massa tubuh (IMT) pada kategori normal yaitu sebanyak 52,0%, kadar gula darah tinggi (hiperglikemia) sebanyak 60,0%.Berdasarkan kondisi penderita diabetes mellitus tipe 2 mengalami kadar gula darah tinggi (hiperglikemia) disarankan kepada penderita agar rutin melakukan pengecekkan kadar gula darah dan patuh minum obat sehingga tidak menyebabkan tingginya gula demi mencegah terjadinya komplikasi.

Abstract

Nutritional anemia is the most common public health problem, which can lead to a decrease in human quality. The needs of pregnant women for iron, in addition to covering basal losses, also for the need for the formation of red blood cells that increase in number, and also for the needs of the placenta and fetus in the womb. To prevent anemia on an ongoing basis, it is cheap and affordable. The alternative is to consume enough green vegetables, beans, grains and fruits, so that the food consumed is quite diverse, both in quantity and in quality.It is hoped that with the Community Service at an advanced stage (Guidance) by the lecturer of the D III Nutrition Study Program in the working area of ​​the Gandus Health Center, a truly useful and educative way to prevent anemia is to provide nutrition education through demonstrations of processing food with basic ingredients of cassava, tempeh and green vegetables. The results of the implementation of Community Service at an advanced stage (Guidance) by Lecturers of the D III Nutrition Study Program, it was found that an increase in the Hb level of anemic pregnant women, which previously had an average Hb level of < 8.8 mg/dl after coaching, increased by 11.6 mg /dl and furthermore, from the results of the cooking demo, 2 types of dishes made from local ingredients are presented in the form of healthy porridge and Tempe Nagget.
