Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berjudul Pendampingan dan Pelatihan Pengolahan Sampah untuk Siswa SD di SDS Sunan Kalijaga Kecamatan Jabung Kabupaten Malang. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk melaksanakan pendampingan dan pelatihan pengolahan sampah untuk siswa SD di SDS Sunan Kalijaga Kecamatan Jabung Kabupaten Malang. Target pengabdian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDS Sunankalijaga Kecamatan Jabung Kabupaten Malang. Luaran pengabdian ini adalah untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran siswa SDS Sunan Kalijaga Jabung untuk senantiasa menjaga kebersihan lingkungan dan membuang sampah pada tempatnya serta mampu mengolah sampah sesuai dengan karakteristiknya. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyampaian materi tentang limbah dan sampah serta jenis-jenis sampah beserta karakteristiknya dengan menggunakan Power Point, serta penerapan metode praktikum. Kesimpulan dari pengabdian ini adalah program pengabdian masyarakat tentang pengolahan sampah mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan siswa SDS Sunan Kalijaga Kecamatan Jabung Kabupaten Malang tentang bagaimana mengolah dan membuang sampah pada tempatnya dengan baik dan benar. Setelah kegiatan ini, diharapkan seluruh siswa yang telah mengikuti program bisa menerapkan sejak dini baik di rumah, sekolah, maupun masyarakat tentang pentingnya membuang sampah pada tempatnya serta dapat mengolah sampah sesuai dengan karakteristiknya.

Abstract

Environmental literacy is one of the 21st century skills that are needed by students. However, this environmental literacy ability is still not empowered in schools, especially elementary schools in Malang Regency. In addition, Malang local wisdom is also starting to be abandoned. Therefore, a guide book is needed to empower and hone environmental literacy skills and preserve Malang local wisdom for elementary school students. This research is a research and development with Borg & Gall development model. The results of the study indicate that this e-book of environmental literacy practicum based on local wisdom is feasible to use.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) find out the level of validity of guided inquiry-based worksheets to empower students' environmental literacy, (2) to know the readability of guided inquiry-based worksheets to empower students' environmental literacy, (3) find out guided inquiry-based worksheets can empower environmental literacy skills in guided inquiry-based worksheets to empower students' environmental literacy. This is a Research and Development (R&D) research. The model used is the Borg & Gall model. The subjects of the study were fifth grade students of SDN Babadan 5, Ngajum Subdistrict, Malang Regency in 2019/2020 learning year, which consisted of 20 students. In this study the main material used is on the water cycle science subjects. The instruments used included test questions, lesson plans, teacher and student action questionnaires, student responses, RPP validations, worksheet validations, test question validations, and assessment of motor activities on students. The data generated in the form of validation of LKS products, test questions, and lesson plans, the results of the pretest and posttest, student responses, self-assessment and peer assessment, and assessment of student motor activities. Based on the results of the study show that: (1) the quality of the guided inquiry-based worksheets to empower students' environmental literacy can be viewed from the overall feasibility aspects both good and very suitable for use in learning, (2) the practicality of worksheets can be seen from the questionnaire responses of students who get the number a score of 376 with an average of 18.8 with a percentage of 94% categorized as "very good" in the use of teaching materials LKS, (3) the category of environmental literacy skills assessment in the development of this worksheet also showed very good results seen from the results of self assessment assessment that has been done by researchers shows a percentage of 93%, while peer assessment shows a percentage of 92% with a very good category

Abstract

Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah R&D dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yaitu: (1) Analysis (analisis), (2) Design (desain atau rancangan), (3) Development (pengembangan), (4) Implementasi (implementasi), ( 5) Evaluasi (evaluasi). Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah 15 siswa SD Negeri 01 Jatikerto pada uji coba lapangan utama dan 6 siswa pada uji coba lapangan pendahuluan dengan menggunakan teknik dan instrumen yaitu wawancara, observasi dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media smart plus layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian dapat dilihat dari hasil persentase ahli media sebesar 88%. Kemudian persentase ahli materi adalah 74%. Hasil persentase minat siswa pada uji coba pendahuluan sebesar 82%. Hasil persentase minat siswa pada uji coba lapangan utama 87%%. Hasil keterbacaan media oleh guru sebesar 90%. Hasil keterbacaan media oleh siswa pada uji coba pendahuluan lapangan adalah 91%. Hasil keterbacaan media oleh siswa pada uji coba lapangan utama sebesar 89%. Hasil minat belajar sebelum menggunakan media pembelajaran pada uji coba pendahuluan lapangan sebesar 90%. Hasil minat belajar sebelum menggunakan media pembelajaran pada uji coba lapangan sebesar 87%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpilkan bahwa pengembangan aplikasi smart plus dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa

Abstract

Activeness in learning is very important and is the key to the success of learning. Factors that drive this research include lack of student attention during learning, low student involvement in the learning process, and low use of media during classroom learning activities. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the use of wordwall as an interactive learning media in the learning process can improve the activeness and cognitive learning outcomes of students in grade IV of SDN Pamotan V in science subjects. Classroom action research (CAR) is the type of research used. The CAR model used is the Suharsimi Arikunto model. Cycle I and Cycle II of the study involved planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This study collected data using interviews, observation sheets, tests, and documentation. The results showed that interactive wordwall learning media can improve the activeness and learning outcomes of grade IV students in science subjects. In cycle I, student activeness reached 97% with a very good score, and in cycle II, student activeness reached 88.2% with a very good score. The improvement of students' cognitive learning outcomes can be seen through the gain test score, namely in cycle I it produces a gain score test result, namely a normalized score of 0.47 which is categorized as moderate and in cycle II it obtains a normalized score of 0.69 with a moderate category. Therefore, wordwall is an interactive learning media, wordwall can be used to improve students' activeness and cognitive learning outcomes
