Abstract

Abstract: Ibn Taymiyyah is a controversial muslim scholar and thinker. His sharp criticism of Sufism and some followers of Sufism caused sharp controversy. Likewise, his thoughts on Islamic law often contradict the opinions of muslim jurists. This study aims to analyze Ibn Taymiyyah's thoughts on the relationship between Sufism and Islamic law. The method used in this study was a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach. The technique of data collection was a library research with content analysis theory. The results showed that Sufism in Ibn Taymiyyah's perspective could not be separated from Islamic law, but each of the two had a relationship arising from his thoughts which represented esoteric and exoteric understanding. The dichotomy between esoteric and exoteric understanding on several Sufism concepts such as ahwāl, maqāmāt, ma'rifat, region and karamah makes muslims further away from Islamic teachings. The synthesis of Ibn Taymiyyah's understanding was manifested in the form of faith as a form of inner deed (Sufism) and piety as a form of outward action (Islamic law). This study summarized Ibn Taymiyyah's thoughts on the relationship between Sufism and Islamic law. الملخص: إن ابن تيمية عالم ومفكر متنازع عنه،  انتقاده للصوفية وبعض المتصوفة يجعل شخصيته محل خلاف،  وكذلك الحال لآرائه في الفقه حيث خالف في كثير من المسائل جمهور الفقهاء وٱئمة المذاهب.  تهدف الدراسة إلى تحليل العلاقة بين التصوف والفقه عند ابن تيمية. استخدمت الدراسة الٱسلوب المكتبي المعتمد على المنهج النوعي الوصفي التحليلي وهو تحليل المحتوى، وطريقة جمع البيانات هو التوثيق.  استنتجت الدراسة إلى ٱن التصوف عند ابن تيمية له علاقة تكاملية بالفقه بحيث لا يمكن فصل ٱحدهما عن الآخر.  تظهر العلاقة في آرائه التي تجمع بين فكر الباطن (ٱي التصوف) وفكر الظاهر (ٱي الفقه). والفصل بين الظاهر والباطن في موضوعات التصوف مثل الٱحوال والمقامات والمعرفة والولاية والكرامة يجعل المسلمين بعيدين عن الإسلام. يٱتي آراء ابن تيمية متمثلة في الإيمان الذي هو عبارة عن الباطن والتقوى الذي هو عبارة عن الظاهر. برهنت الدراسة آراء ابن تيمية في ربط العلاقة بين الباطن والظاهر.Abstrak: Ibn Taimiyah adalah sosok ulama dan pemikir muslim yang kontroversial. Kritikannya yang tajam terhadap tasawuf dan sebagian penganut tasawuf menimbulkan polemik yang tajam. Demikian juga halnya dengan pemikirannya tentang hukum islam yang sering berseberangan dengan pendapat para ahli hukum islam. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemikiran Ibn Taimiyah tentang relasi tasawuf dan hukum islam. Studi ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis. Metode yang dipergunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dengan menggunakan teori analisis isi (content analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tasawuf dalam perspektif Ibn Taimiyah tidak bisa dipisahkan dari hukum Islam namun masing-masing dari keduanya memiliki relasi yang muncul dari pemikirannya yang mensitesakan antara pemahaman esoteris dan pemahaman eksoteris. Dikhotomi antara pemahaman esoteris dengan eksoteris pada beberapa konsep tasawuf seperti ahwāl, maqāmāt, ma’rifat, wilayah dan karamah membuat umat Islam semakin jauh dari ajaran Islam. Sintesa dari pemahaman Ibn Taimiyah ini dimanifestasikan dalam bentuk iman sebagai wujud perbuatan batin (tasawuf) dan takwa sebagai wujud perbuatan lahir (hukum Islam). Studi ini menyimpulkan pemikiran Ibn Taimiyah tentang relasi tasawuf dan hukum islam.

Abstract

The aims of this research was to know the implementation of the Rabbani method in learning of the tahfidz Al-Qur'an at the Al-Ikhlas Taliwang Modern Islamic Boarding School and Nurul Haramain NW Narmada Modern Islamic Boarding School, the obstacles and solutions. This research was qualitative research with multi-site study design. Data collection was carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Determination of informants used purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used interactive analysis techniques by Miles Hubermen and Saldana. The results of the research showed that: 1) Implementation of the Rabbani method in learning of tahfidz Al-Qur'an at Al-Ikhlas Taliwang Modern Islamic Boarding School and Nurul Haramain NW Narmada Modern Islamic Boarding School for females agreed with steps and stages contained in the instructions of use of the Rabbbani method, 2) Internal obstacles: the students did not master makharijul huruf and tajwid, forgot, and did not focus. External obstacles: the difficulty in distinguishing the similar verses, the difficulty in dividing the time and the limited number of teachers who master the Rabbani method. 3) Solutions: providing of motivation, internal approach, reading improvement (tahsin) of Al-Qur'an, tahfidz contact book, delivering the memorization (tasmi'), memorization repetition (muraja'ah), training of the Rabbani method, study visits, and taking notes on similar verses.

Abstract

The rise of the phenomenon of students' moral deviation seen in the millennial era is really concerning to the world of education so that one of the efforts to shape the religious character of students is through the tahfidz al-Qur'an program. . This study aims to determine the implementation of the Al-Qur'an tahfidz program and the formation of the religious character of students. An important aspect of this research is the implementation of the tahfidz Al-Qur'an program and the formation of religious character which includes: Methods, stages, indicators and supporting and inhibiting factors for the formation of the tahfidz al-Qur'an program internally and externally at MTs At-Tahzib and MTs Al -Ishlahuddiny. This study uses a qualitative approach. The data collection method used is the method of observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the research results, (1)The implementation of the Al-Qur'an tahfidz program is good and running smoothly. (2)The formation of the religious character of students is said to be good by applying exemplary methods, habituation, advice and methods of reward and punishment. The stages are the stages of knowledge, awareness, practice, habituation and maintenance of religious character values. Indicators of forming religious character include: akhlakul karimah, speaking polite words, praying in congregation, praying dhuha, praying before and after learning, saying greetings when meeting, morning imtaq activities and reading yasin and ratib Friday evening. Internal supporting factors: health, intelligence and motivation. External factors: cooperation of all parties, competent tahfidz teachers, time management, government response, internal inhibiting factors: Lazy, impatient, hopeless, difficult to manage time and often forget. External factors: economic capacity and material density.
