Abstract

This review aims to determine the importance of strategic management in improving the quality of education. The review method used is literature, by collecting various references to supporting articles from international and national journals. The results of this study, in the form of an article, describe a significant improvement in the quality of education in well-managed schools. Schools that are not supported by good management processes can lead to irregular organizational rhythms that fail to achieve educational goals properly. Improving the quality of education will certainly have an impact on graduates from these schools. Through strategic management, future opportunities can be expanded and realized risks can be minimized. Strategic management can only be achieved if all parties with direct interest in the school, such as school administrators, parents, lecturers and staff, are involved ABSTRAKReview ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pentingnya manajemen strategis dalam meningkatan mutu pendidikan. Metode review yang digunakan adalah literature, dengan mengumpulkan berbagai referensi artikel pendukung dari jurnal internasional dan nasional. Hasil kajian ini, dalam bentuk artikel, menggambarkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kualitas pendidikan di sekolah yang dikelola dengan baik. Sekolah yang tidak ditunjang dengan proses manajemen yang baik dapat saja menimbulkan ritme organisasi yang tidak teratur sehingga gagal mencapai tujuan pendidikan dengan baik. Peningkatan kualitas pendidikan tentunya akan berdampak pada lulusan dari sekolah tersebut. Melalui manajemen strategis, peluang masa depan dapat diperluas dan risiko yang direalisasikan dapat diminimalkan. Manajemen strategis hanya dapat dicapai jika semua pihak yang berkepentingan langsung dengan sekolah, seperti administrator sekolah, orang tua siswa, dosen dan staf, terlibat.

Abstract

This type of research is development research (Research and Development) which aims to find out the results of developing a laboratory management application based on web data streaming to Android and find out user responses to the implementation of the design results. The type of research used is development research or Research and Development (R&D). The number of respondents was 20 people using individual trials, small group trials and field trials. The research results show that PKK Laboratory Management can help laboratory management activities of the PKK FT UNM Department. With this web-based laboratory management information system, users can process information more easily and quickly. The results of the Functionality Testing carried out by the system expert were declared suitable for use, where the system expert assessed two main indicators, namely the login menu and administrator menu, where the results obtained were an average of 4.36 with 87.12% being in the Strongly Agree criteria. Usability testing on laboratory management applications based on web to Android data streaming with user response results with a mean of 3.77 with a percentage of 94.15% in the Very Good criteria.
