Abstract

[LEAK DETECTION IN LPG GAS CYLINDER USING ANDROID-BASED MQ-5 SENSOR] In this study there had been designed the LPG gas cylinder leak detector using Microcontrollers and MQ5-based MQ5 sensors. The purpose of this study is to make a series of MQ5 sensors to detect LPG gas levels which then give notifications in mobile applications and provide handling through mobile applications and handling automatically if a gas leak occurs. When NodeMCU ESP8266 leaks receive information on a gas leak from the MQ-5 sensor, it will immediately provide instructions to the buzzer to ring alarm as a warning of the surrounding person, and give information in the form of a notification in the mobile application that there is a gas leak then gives an order to revoke the regulator through mobile application. Automation carried out has different treatments in accordance with the range of gas levels detected. The range of gas levels is PPM <500, 500 <ppm <1000 and ppm> 1000. The sensor circuit that has been made can detect gas content by up to 33000 ppm. The results of testing on the LPG gas leakage automation system, namely the system can work when there is a leak in LPG gas and effectively to reduce LPG gas levels to the safe zone. Abstract

Scholarship is one of the programs initiated by the institution that is awarded to a student based on academic achievement or other criteria that may include financial need. Scholarships are awarded selectively in accordance with the scholarships held. The most problem in scholarship program is the selection process to decide scholarship awardees. The conventional selection model in scholarship selection is commonly not transparent and misdirected. This research was conducted in UIN Alauddin Makassar which aims to develop a scholarship selection Decision Support System to facilitate the decision makers in selecting scholarship recipients. The method used in the decision-making process is the Exponential Comparison method. This method is a method with exponential calculation, the difference in value between criteria can be distinguished depending on the ability of the person who judges. The system that has been built is then tested by BlackBox testing. The results of the study show that all features of the system can function properly. This research is expected to facilitate decision makers in selecting scholarship recipients transparently and effectively.

Abstract

In its implementation, teaching dance for deaf students at SLB-B YPPLB Makassar, still has obstacles, namely a complicated control process and teaching dance consistency which still uses conventional methods, namely hand clapping. So, in this research, the author makes an application as a forum for learning dance that will be used by students where there is dance introduction material, learning dance consistency exercises through visual media, and receiving feedback from the teacher. Based on questionnaires that have been filled out by students, it can be concluded that the application made is in accordance with the dance learning method and makes it easier for them in the process of learning dance tempo.

Abstract

Studi ini mengutamakan pengembangan aplikasi edukatif yang memadukan Model SAVAR (Substitution, Augmentation, Virtual Learning, Apply, Re-Evaluation) dalam konteks Realitas Virtual. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Membuat aplikasi berbasis Virtual Reality yang dapat diaplikasikan dalam pembelajaran Teori Bahasa Automata; (2) Mengetahui respon mahasiswa mengenai aplikasi pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan. Metode penelitian ini termasuk dalam kategori Research & Development (R&D). Evaluasi aplikasi dilakukan melalui metode black box dan survei tanggapan pengguna. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi memiliki nilai kevalidan media rata-rata 3,33 dan menerima respon positif dari mahasiswa dengan rata-rata 3,19, yang menunjukkan efektivitas sangat efektif. Adapun keterlaksanaan model SAVAR mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 3,50

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the needs for educational media that can enhance students' learning through mixed reality education using industrial control techniques. There are thirty research subjects at Politeknik Bosowa Makassar. This research is an R&D study using the SAVAR (Substitution, Augmentation, Virtual Learning, Apply and Re-evaluation) model. Mixed reality is a technology of unity Augmented reality and virtual reality. The results of this research are an analysis of the execution of the project and a study of the student's characteristics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengimplementasikan Convolutional Neural Network untuk mengklasifikasi jenis tanaman rimpang yang memiliki bentuk dan warna yang hampir sama. Jenis tanaman rimpang yang diklasifikasi yaitu Kunyit, Jahe, Laos, Kencur, dan Kunci. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat 3 arsitektur Convolutional Neural Network yang digunakan yaitu MobileNet, InceptionV3, dan VGGNet. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa arsitektur MobileNet dan InceptionV3 memperoleh akurasi yang sama yaitu sebesar 98%. Meskipun demikian, arsitektur MobileNet memiliki waktu komputasi yang lebih cepat. Adapun arsitektur VGG19 memperoleh akurasi sebesar 88%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode yang digunakan dapat membedakan berbagai jenis tanaman rimpang dengan cukup baik meskipun dengan jumlah data yang sedikit. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memudahkan masyarakat atau orang awam yang masih sulit dalam membedakan tanaman rimpang.
