Abstract

Introduction Comprehensive midwifery care is care provided by midwives to clients starting from pregnancy, childbirth, newborns, postpartum and contraception. The maternal mortality rate in Indonesia is still relatively high and a big problem as a developing country. One of the efforts to reduce the mortality rate is to provide antenatal care services for monitoring and detection during pregnancy, maternal care during childbirth, detection of bleeding, infection and hypertension. The purpose of this case study is to be able to provide Comprehensive Midwifery Care to Mrs. R at PMB Erliza. Method The case study method used is an observational case study using qualitative data, which was conducted at PMB Erliza, Peusangan District, Bireuen Regency in February-June 2021. The subject in this case study was mother R aged 35 years G5P2A2 starting from pregnancy, childbirth, baby newborn, puerperium and contraception. Result The comprehensive midwifery care that was carried out on Mrs. R did not find any complications or complications that accompanied Mrs. R during pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, her baby and the use of contraception. Midwifery care during pregnancy was carried out twice, delivery during the hour, postpartum was carried out 4 visits, newborns 3 visits and the mother chose to use natural contraception with the MAL method so as not to interfere with breast milk production. Conclusion Comprehensive midwifery care for Mrs. R at PMB Erliza has been carried out in accordance with midwifery care standards and no complications or complications were found during pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, newborn and contraception.

Abstract

The pandemic due to the prolonged Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) is engulfing various countries around the world. The epidemiology of COVID-19 has been declared a global pandemic on March 11, 2020 by WHO. The World Health Organization (WHO) issued an appeal regarding the transmission of this virus, one of which is washing hands with soap or what we often hear with the term CTPS (Washing Hands with Soap). Socialization of the correct way of washing hands will be one of the good habits that they will apply and do in their daily lives with the aim of avoiding disease, especially the transmission of the COVID-19 disease which is currently a pandemic. This community service activity was carried out at SD Negeri 27 Peusangan, Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province, totaling 31 students with demonstration methods and audio-visual media. After this service activity, the students were very enthusiastic and became aware of the importance of proper hand washing. It is hoped that this activity will continue to be intensified as one of the efforts to prevent the transmission of COVID-19, especially in Indonesia.

Abstract

Menstruation is still a taboo subject to be discussed by people in several parts of Indonesia. The Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey in 2017 indicated that 1 in 5 young women had never discussed menstruation with adults before experiencing menarche. In fact, cleanliness and maintenance of reproductive organs during menstruation is very important to avoid various menstrual problems. The purpose of this community service is so that young women are able to understand how to fulfill the health of their reproductive organs. This activity is oriented towards 30 young women of SMP Negeri 2 Siblah Krueng, Bireuen Regency. The methods used in providing menstrual education are lectures, material presentations, leaflet distribution, and videos. Evaluation of this activity is by holding a discussion group during the activity. The results obtained from community service indicate that there is a clear understanding of female students, which can be seen in the evaluation stage of menstrual education counseling. Young women were very enthusiastic during the discussion by actively providing responses and questions. The counseling methods and media used in this community service can effectively increase young women's understanding of menstrual health. The school will disseminate information about menstrual health not only for young women but also for young men, so that menstrual health is no longer taboo and can be discussed openly for certain purposes.

Abstract

Drug abuse among adolescents is a serious problem that negatively affects both physical and mental health, particularly because adolescents are in a phase of psychological development that is vulnerable to environmental influences. This activity aims to increase adolescents’ understanding and awareness of the dangers of drugs to mental health and psychological development, as well as to motivate them to stay away from drugs. The activity was conducted through Communication, Information, and Education (CIE) on the impact of drugs on adolescent psychology. The target of the activity was ninth-grade students of MTsN 6 Bireuen. The results of the activity showed an increase in students’ knowledge about the dangers of drugs to mental health and adolescent psychology. After the activity, students were better able to recognize the negative impacts of drugs and demonstrated a more positive attitude toward avoiding drug abuse. The CIE activity had a positive impact in improving students’ understanding of the dangers of drugs and is expected to encourage adolescents to protect themselves from drug abuse and contribute to building a healthier generation.ABSTRAKPenyalahgunaan narkoba di kalangan remaja merupakan masalah serius yang berdampak negatif terhadap kesehatan fisik dan mental, terutama karena remaja berada pada fase perkembangan psikologis yang rentan terhadap pengaruh lingkungan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran remaja tentang dampak bahaya narkoba terhadap kesehatan mental dan perkembangan psikologis, serta memotivasi mereka untuk menjauhi narkoba. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui Komunikasi, Informasi, dan Edukasi (KIE) tentang dampak narkoba terhadap psikologi remaja. Sasaran kegiatan adalah siswa kelas IX MTsN 6 Bireuen. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan siswa tentang bahaya narkoba terhadap kesehatan mental dan psikologi remaja. Setelah kegiatan, siswa lebih mampu mengenali dampak negatif narkoba dan menunjukkan sikap yang lebih positif untuk menjauhi penyalahgunaan narkoba. Kegiatan KIE memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang bahaya narkoba dan diharapkan mampu mendorong remaja untuk melindungi diri dari penyalahgunaan narkoba serta berperan dalam membangun generasi yang lebih sehat.

Abstract

Dinas Sosial Aceh memaparkan terdapat 32 kasus penganiayaan pada tahun 2016, mulai dari tingkat SD, SMP dan SMA di Aceh diantaranya 21 kasus penganiayaan di sekolah berasrama kota Banda Aceh. Remaja pada jenjang SMA berada pada posisi tertinggi kasus penganiayaan yaitu sebesar 84,4%, tingkat SMP sebesar 6,2% dan tingkat SD sebesar 9,4%. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak bullying terhadap perkembangan psikososial anak di MTsN Negeri 2 Kabupaten Bireuen. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah remaja pada jenjang Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan membekali siswa tentang pengetahuan bullying, dampak dan upaya menghindari praktik bullying di MTsN 2 Kabupaten Bireuen. Tahapan sosialisasi program oleh Tim pengabdian dimulai dari persiapan awal (survey pendahuluan), menetapkan waktu pelaksanaan kegiatan, pelaksanaan program, serta monitoring dan evaluasi program. Hasilnya dapat diketahui bahwa dampak negatif yang sering dirasakan akibat bullying adalah rasa marah, dendam, tertekan, mau, dan merasa sedih. Dampak psikososial akibat bullying yang berbahaya adalah munculnya gangguan psikologis, seperti cemas berlebihan, takut, depresi, bunuh diri, dan PTSD. Kesimpulannya adalah sasaran mendapatkan pembekalan pengetahuan yang baik tentang bahaya perilaku bullying di kalangan pelajar. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan meningkatnya pemahaman peserta didik terhadap isu-isu yang disampaikan dan dibahas pada saat diskusis dan tanya jawab.   Kata Kunci: dampak, bullying, psikososial
