Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see the role of Ibn Sina who has a very broad influence, not only in the Islamic world, but also in the Western world. The scope of his expertise is quite broad, ranging from medicine, philosophy, Islamic law, to education. This research is a qualitative research which is library research. The results of the study, at this time there has been a decline in morals in various circles, especially among students. So far, the simplistic view that has developed in society considers the decline in the morals, morals and ethics of students to be caused by the failure of religious education in schools. It must be admitted, to a certain extent, religious education learning has certain weaknesses, starting from the very minimal number of hours, educational materials that are too many theories, to educational approaches that tend to rely on cognitive aspects rather than affective and psychomotor aspects of students. . In conclusion, as a philosopher who is very concerned about education issues, Ibn Sina gives a lot of understanding in laying the foundations of Islamic education, which is very valuable and has no small influence on Islamic education today. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand the values ​​of Sufism in Islamic education according to Hamka. This research is a qualitative research using a library research approach using books and other literatures as the main object of research, for further content analysis that will be used in drawing conclusions. The results of the research, Hamka is an Islamic thinker who is famous for his concept of "Modern Sufism". Hamka did not create a new concept in Sufism, he only wanted to restore the meaning of Sufism as it was at the beginning of Sufism, namely cleansing the soul from all heart diseases, educating, increasing the degree of mind, suppressing all greed and fighting excessive lust from the need for true happiness. In conclusion, Hamka's thoughts on Islamic education are in line with the concept of modern Sufism that he put forward. This is clearly seen in his opinion on the objectives and materials of Islamic education. According to Hamka, the goal of Islamic education is to create a complete human being (insan kamil). Abstract

This study aims to describe the relationship between the socio-economic conditions of parents on student achievement. Methods and types of research using correlation and quantitative. The population as well as the research sample amounted to 28 students. The research instrument used a questionnaire and the learning achievement of students who took the Educational Profession course. The results showed that the average socioeconomic condition of the parents was 70 with good qualifications and the average learning achievement was 70 with good qualifications. Furthermore, testing using the product moment formula obtained rcount 0.900 and tcount 10.505 with degrees of freedom n-2 (28-2=26), and a significant level of 0.05. The hypothesis is accepted if tcount > ttable. Thus H1 is accepted because the test results prove that tcount is greater than ttable, namely 1,703 > 10,505. The conclusion is that there is a significant relationship between the socio-economic conditions of parents on the learning achievement of students' Educational Professions.
