Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the effectiveness of English Teaching Module at middle schools in West Aceh. The students of middle school studying in Government public school were the population of study. The control group, as well as the experimental group, was of equal size, each has 30 students of 8th class. The significance of the difference between the scores of groups at 0.05 levels was tested by applying t-test. The result of the study showed the difference between the mean scores of the experimental and control group was found to be highly significant. The p- value was found 0. 000 (P< 0.05). The study also proved that the material designed, which was useful for slow as well as of bright students, enabled the students to comprehend difficult concepts, and kept them on the track.

Abstract

Having a good atmosphere in the teaching learning process is essential . When students feel convenient with their class, they will be able to accept the transfer of knowledge easily. However, many teachers face difficulties in finding a good teaching approach when teaching islamic education to their students. To deal with issue, the researcher proposes the use of constructivism approach in Islamic education classroom. Constructivism is a teaching approach which states that students learn best when they actively construct their knowledge based on their prior knowledge. One of the advantages of constructivism is it encourages students to have social and communication skills in a classroom environment. Even though, there are some challenges that teachers might face in implementing this approach, by following recommendations suggested by the experts, the researcher believed that this approach will be helpful for teachers to gain success in their classroom.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of artificial intelligence-based discovery learning models on students' creative thinking skills. This research is a type of meta-analysis research. The data source comes from the analysis of 12 national and international journals. Search for data sources via Google Scholar, ProQuest, ScienceDirect, and Plos ONE. Inclusion criteria in this research are published articles from national and international journals indexed by SINTA and Scopus. The research was published from 2016-2023. The research has an experimental class with a discovery learning model and a control class with a conventional model. The research has a sample size of > 20 students. The research results concluded that the summary effect size or mean effect size value was 0.851 , a high criterion. These findings show that the artificial intelligence-based discovery learning model has an influence on students' creative thinking skills.
