Abstract

Abstract:The formulation of this research problem is how the influence of intellectual ability on teacher performance, how the influence of work motivation on teacher performance, how the influence of intellectual ability and work motivation on teacher performance. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of intellectual ability on teacher performance, to determine the effect of work motivation on teacher performance, to determine the effect of intellectual ability and work motivation on teacher performance. With multiple linear regression analysis techniques obtained the following research results. Intellectual ability and motivation variables simultaneously have positive and significant effect on teacher performance with Fcount> Ftable (17.906> 3,350). Partial intellectual ability variable has positive and significant effect on teacher performance, with tcount> ttable (2,339> 2,042). Partial motivation variable has positive and significant effect on teacher performance with tcount> ttable (5,552> 2,042). The value of R Square in the above table is 0,570, it shows that 57 % variable of teacher performance can be explained by intellectual ability and motivation variable, while the rest of 43% is explained by other un-researched variables such as teacher discipline level, teacher competency, PBM and so forth.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of the study is to examine whether there is an influence of reading interest and the role of supervisors partially or simultaneously on the success of writing the final assignment. The research was conducted at AMIK Tunas Bangsa Pematangsiantar by taking a sample of 78 people from 369 population populations using calculations using Slovin formula. The method used is the survey method and data collection carried out through observation, interviews, and distributing questionnaires using a Likert scale as a measuring device. The sampling technique using purposive sampling is a sampling technique of data sources with certain considerations, the analytical technique used is multiple lenier analysis techniques. In analyzing the data used several descriptive analysis techniques to determine the distribution of respondents' answers to the overall concept being measured, quantitative analysis using numbers and calculations with statistical methods. The results of the analysis show that partial reading interest has a positive and significant effect on the success of the final assignment, tcount> t table (3.167> 1.991), the role of partial supervisor is positive and significant effect on the success of the final assignment, tcount> t table (2.915> 1.991), reading interest and the role of supervisors simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the success of the final assignment where the value of Fcount> Ftable is (20,094> 3,12).

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengkaji apakah ada terdapat pengaruh minat baca dan peran dosen pembimbing secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap keberhasilan penulisan tugas akhir. Penelitian dilakukan di AMIK Tunas Bangsa Pematangsiantar dengan mengambil sampel 78 orang dari 369 orang populasi dengan perhitungan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survey dan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan membagikan kuisioner menggunakan skala Likert sebagai alat pengukurnya. Teknik pengambilan sample dengan menggunakan purposive sampling yaitu teknik pengambilan sample sumber data dengan pertimbangan tertentu, teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis lenier berganda. Dalam menganalisi data digunakan beberapa teknik  analsis deskriptif untuk mengetahui sebaran jawaban responden terhadap keseluruhan konsep yang diukur, analisis kuantitatif dengan menggunakan angka-angka dan perhitungan dengan metode statistik. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa minat baca secara partial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keberhasilan tugas akhir, nilai thitung > ttabel (3,167 > 1,991), peran dosen pembimbing secara partial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keberhasilan tugas akhir, nilai thitung > ttabel (2,915 > 1,991), minat baca dan peran dosen pembimbing secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keberhasilan tugas akhir dimana  nilai Fhitung > Ftabel yaitu (20,094 > 3,12)
