Abstract

On this modern era, most of education practitioners have perspective that the purpose of education is educating student to be more intelligent in cognitive area. Whereas, In the perspective of the founder of Nahdlatul Ulama’ organization (NU) KH Hasyim Asy’ari, the education’s goal should be directed in educating the behavior of students. KH. Hasyim Asy’ari believes that the searching of knowledge is part of glorious work in religion, so that, people who search knowledge should show glorious thing in their attitude to acquire the knowledge, and this kind of thinking is poured by KH Hasyim Asya'ri's in his book Adab Al-’Alim Wa Al-Muta’allim. In this book, KH Hasyim Asy’ari sees that in searching of science is as part of religion activity and it must be followed by the good attitude (al-akhlâq al-karîmah). That kind of thinking is bringing KH Hasyim Asy’ari has the own philosophy in education. Then, to know more about the pedagogic philosophy of KH Hasyim Asy’ari, the researcher conducts literature research that highlight the thought of KH Hasyim Asy’ari about education through his book, Adab Al-’Alim Wa Al-Muta’allim. In this research is found that the concept of education focuses on attitude, the concept of education which is offered seems does not too support the development of critical logical reasoning. This thing is caused by the core of good attitude (akhlaq) and critical reasoning are opposite each other. in one side, akhlaq is most influenced by faith or believed which is sourced from heart, whereas logical reasoning is influenced by rationality which comes from brain, and that different sources will impact the out put which will be resulted.

Abstract

Indonesia is a fertile place for shamanism. This country seems shackled by shamanism. Just sell the land must go to the shaman, want his business to run smoothly, want his position to survive, want to have the authority and feared subordinates must go to the shaman. In this discussion will be focused on the Islamic view in the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad SAW about the beliefs of people who come to paranormal, because if they are wrong perceptions then this will ration their faith in Allah and His messengers. This research is a library research.

Abstract

Al- Qur’an, sebagaimana kitab suci yang lain merupakan bagian dari produk dan fakta sejarah. Dalam hal ini yang dimaksud dengan produk sejarah adalah ada campur tangan manusia dalam upaya membukukannya. Upaya-upaya yang dilakukan memerlukan proses yang sangat panjang, mulai dari pengumpulan, penyaringan, menyeleksi, pengumpulan sahabat-sahabat Nabi yang hafal al-Qur’an dan lain sebagainya. Namun demikian, penulisan al-Qur’an pada dasarnya merupakan bimbingan dari tuhan. Sebagai mana diketahui, bahwa al-Qur’an turun melalui tradisi oral. Selama itu belum terfikirkan untuk dibukukan menjadi sebuah kitab suci yang abadi. Dalam catatan sejarah, pembukuan dilakukan pada masa sahabat (utsman). Sebagai upaya yang bersifat manusiawi, pembukuan al-Qur’an tentu tidak terlepas dari sebuah kesalahan. Jika selama ini al-Qur’an diyakini kebenaranya bukan sesuatu hal yang bersifat manusiawi. Kebenaran al-Qur’an justeru bersifat ilahiyah. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menyampaikan bagaimana proses perkembangan pengumpulan Al-Qur’an. Dalam tulisan ini, tidak ada yang perlu diperdebatkan tentang kebenaran Al-Qur’an, namun penilaian akan bagaimana Al-Qur’an dikumpulkan dan dibukukan perlu dikaji secara ilmiah.
