Abstract

This research was raised because in pandemic times, students have to learn from home, and this requires independence. To bring out details about the role of parents and schools, researchers conducted literature research by studying in-depth independent learners. From the analysis results of various relevant library sources, the authors found that parents and schools need to establish cooperation to establish a mentoring section for students. Then parents and schools need to work together in building positive habits. However, there are obstacles that can arise, namely the busyness of parents who work, and parental understanding is still limited. Some parental support in the maximization of independent learners in pandemic times is to provide encouragement that will spur the development of self-potential, emotional support because the pandemic period can cause difficulties for students, motivation to keep learning passions high, and physiological support by ensuring students' health is especially not exposed to Covid-19.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the background of giving children's names to the Toraja community which includes the background and expectations of giving children's names in toraja communities based on local wisdom for the formation of children's character in Lembang La'bo' Sanggalangi Subdistrict'. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The research was conducted from October to November 2020 in Lembang La'bo' Sanggalangi Subdistrict'. The data in this study is a self-name obtained from informants or respondents in Lembang La'bo' Sanggalangi Subdistrict'. Data is collected through (1) observation techniques, (2) interview techniques (3) record techniques and (4) record techniques. The results showed that the background of naming children's names in toraja society was based on local wisdom in Lembang La'bo' Sanggalangi Subdistrict', namely (1) Containing the expectations of parents; (2) Faith Response; (3) Time of Birth; (4) Warning of events that have occurred Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan latar belakang pemberian nama anak pada masyarakat Toraja yang meliputi latar belakang dan harapan dari pemberian nama anak dalam masyarakat Toraja berdasarkan kearifan lokal untuk pembentukan karakter anak di Lembang La’bo’ Kecamatan Sanggalangi’. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai bulan Oktober–November 2020 di Lembang La’bo’ Kecamatan Sanggalangi’. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah nama diri diperoleh dari informan atau responden di Lembang La’bo’ Kecamatan Sanggalangi’. Data dikumpulkan melalui (1) teknik observasi, (2) teknik wawancara (3)teknik catat dan(4) teknik rekam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa latar belakang pemberian nama nama anak  dalam masyarakat Toraja berdasarkan kearifan lokal di Lembang La’bo’ Kecamatan Sanggalangi’, yaitu (1) Berisi harapan orang tua; (2) Respon Iman; (3) Waktu Kelahiran; (4) Peringatan atas peristiwa yang pernah terjadi.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of Christian Religious Edu-cation in a multicultural society in the Indonesian context. The fundamental thing of concern is the weak adaptability of the multicultural context in PAK which is able to answer the demands of togetherness and equality amidst the various differences that exist as uniqueness and identity of self and group. A qualitative approach with descriptive research through analysis of descriptive-argumentative data used in this study is intended to bring researchers closer to the problems that exist in the field so that it fulfills the principles of adequacy and fulfillment of the required data. The results obtained are that PAK places its characteristics that are always dealing with multicultural contexts so that the context is not to be avoided but to be lived. Efforts to live up to the multicultural context in the realization of PAK place PAK attached to the foundation of Jesus' concern who loves everyone. Based on the research findings, it is highly recommended that the Indonesian context is always the answer to the achievement of the goals of PAK, an Indonesian culture that accepts, respects, and upholds the principle of living together. Abstrak Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi Pendidikan Agama Kristen da-lam masyarakat multikultural konteks Indonesia. Hal mendasar yang menjadi keprihatinan adalah lemahnya kemampuan adaptasi konteks multikultural dalam PAK yang mampu menjawab tuntutan kebersamaan dan kesederajatan di tengah pelbagai perbedaan yang ada sebagai keunikan dan identitas diri dan kelompok. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif melalui analisis data deskriptif-argumentatif yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mendekatkan peneliti dengan masalah yang ada dilapangan sehingga memenuhi prinsip kecukupan dan kepenuhan data yang dibutuhkan. Hasil yang didapatkan, bahwa PAK menempatkan karakteristiknya yang senantiasa berhadapan dengan konteks multikultural, sehingga konteks tersebut bukan untuk dihindari melain-kan dihidupi. Upaya menghidupi konteks multikultural dalam realisasi PAK menempatkan PAK melekat pada dasar kepedulian Yesus yang mengasihi se-tiap orang. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian tersebut, maka sangat disarankan agar senantiasa menempatkan konteks Indonesia menjadi jawaban bagi penca-paian tujuan PAK, budaya Indonesia yang saling menerima, menghormati dan meninggikan prinsip kehidupan bersama.
