Abstract

This research aims to know: (1) teacher activity while applying learning of Numbered Head Together on the subject matter of the Starter System, (2) student activity of eleventh grade students (TKR) of SMK NEGERI 1 Sukamara while following application of learning model of Numbered Head Together, (3) students response at eleventh grade students (TKR) of SMK NEGERI 1 Sukamara on learning by using the learning model of Numbered Head Together (NHT) on the subject matter of the starter system, (4) the result of student learning of eleventh grade students (TKR) of SMK NEGERI 1 Sukamara after following learning model of Numbered Head Together (NHT) on the subject matter of the starter system. This research was quantitative descriptive, this research took subject of eleventh grade students (TKR) of SMK NEGERI 1 Sukamara selected as research subject. The instruments used were Cognitive Learning Result Test, Students Activity Sheet, Teacher Activity Sheet and Student Response Questionnaire, and student learning outcomes involving Cognitive and Psychomotor aspects. The results of data analysis indicated that the overall shows that the student activity performed well. The completeness of cognitive learning tests individually there were 26 finished (92%) and 2 unfinished (8%). Classically this learning was said to be completed because the percentage of completeness obtained (92.39%).

Abstract

This research aims to discover whether the positive correlation and significance between student’s perception about the educational mechanical engineering workshop to motivation in following the practical production process at academic year 2016/2017. The one of factors influencing the student’s motivation is perception to mechanical workshop paradigm in which many students stated that practical work is less maximum during implementation. Furthermore, several students showed then less motivation signed less providing own attention to instructor. In this research, it uses the survey type involving data collection method is utilizing the questionnaire and interview. The research subject is university students of 2011/2012/2013 with sample total is 61 students. The data analysis used the moment product correlation. The analysis prerequisite tests are normality test and linearity test followed by SPSSV to be analysis prerequisite test. The result performed that there the positive relationship and significance between student’s perception about mechanical engineering workshop to motivation in attending production process at academic year 2016/2017. It is proved by correlation coefficient value Rxy at about 0.927 and tcount at around 1.985 higher than ttable having value at 1.671 on significance level 0.05.

Abstract

Problems in class X TSM in SMKN 1 Palangka Raya in learning system conducted by teachers were ineffective learning model. Effective learning in school is very difficult to apply especially on gasoline engine subject because it has a lot of explanations including Explanation of combustion motor that includes type and working principle of motor fuel so that students consider motor fuel material is difficult to be understood. The learning alternative that can improve students' learning motivation is with the learning model talking stick The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of talking stick model on student learning outcomes on the material motor fuel class X TSM at SMKN 1 Palangka Raya Year Teaching 2016/2017. The research used experimental research consisting of two classes namely TSM A experimental class by using talking stick teaching model which is 16 students and TSM B control class using learning model of lecture which amounted to 16 students, at SMKN 1 Palangka Raya. In the data after the research conducted post test group experimental results and control group of hypothesis test data in can Tcount = 5,10 > ttable = 2,042 at a significant level 5% = 0,05 and dk = (16 + 16 - 2) = 30. Visible tcount ttable, then Ho rejected and HIbe accepted. So it can be concluded that there is influence of student learning outcomes taught by using the model of talking stick learning on the material of cars fuel class X TSM SMKN 1 Palangka Raya academic year 2015/2016
