Abstract

The era is increasingly sophisticated and modern so that every teacher must be innovative and creative in choosing a learning model to improve students 'abilities, especially students' mathematical problem solving abilities so that. This research is an experimental study with Posttest-Only Control Design. The study was conducted in class X TO 4 and X TO 6 SMK PGRI 2 Palembang in the academic year 2018-2019 with a test at the end of the meeting as a tool to measure students' mathematical problem solving abilities with results of tcount 2,693 thus it can be concluded that there was a significant effect of Realistic Matematic learning model Education (RME) on mathematical problem solving skills of students of SMK PGRI 2 Palembang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model Missouri Mathematics Project dengan strategi Think Talk Write terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuasi eksperimen, dengan desain penelitian yang digunakan posttest-only control design. Populasi penelitian ini siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 50 Palembang tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Dengan teknik cluster random sampling, terpilih sampel kelas VII.3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII.2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengolahan data uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan independent sample t-test berbantuan SPSS Statistics 22. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model Missouri Mathematics Project dengan strategi Think Talk Write terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa.

Abstract

Matematika merupakan pengetahuan dasar yang harus dikuasai dan dipahami, penguasaan matematika haruslah kuat sebagai dasar untuk menciptakan dan mengembangkan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang prototype multimedia interaktif pada bangun ruang sisi lengkung yang valid dan praktis. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VI SDIT Salsabila Palembang. Pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Proses pengembangan multimedia interaktif dimulai dari tahap preliminary dan tahap prototyping. Multimedia interaktif  dikembangkan pada tahap preliminary yaitu persiapan konsep yang belum dikuasai siswa, perencanaan atas dasar konsep yang masih belum dikuasai siswa, menentukan standar kompetensi, kompetensi dasar, indikator, silabus, RPP, menentukan unsur-unsur bahan ajar, mengumpulkan materi, menyusun draft bahan untuk membuat multimedia interaktif,  uji  one  to  one  dan  expert  review.  Dari  perancangan  prototype  ini dihasilkan prototype multimedia interaktif volume bangun ruang sisi lengkung untuk siswa kelas VI Sekolah Dasar yang valid dan praktis untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Mathematics learning, particularly in statistics topics, still faces the problem of low student learning motivation, which is influenced by the use of less varied instructional strategies. This study aims to develop a Wordwall-based educational mathematics game as a learning medium for statistics that is valid, practical, and allows observation of its impact on students’ learning motivation. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects were tenth-grade students of SMA Sjakhyakirti, with a field trial conducted in class X.3 involving 37 students. Data collection methods included questionnaires and interviews. The data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques. The results showed that the developed media had a very high level of validity, with percentages of 90.66% from media experts and 93.75% from subject matter experts. Student responses indicated a practicality level of 97.11%, categorized as very practical. In addition, the percentage of students’ learning motivation reached 97.08%, categorized as very high. Therefore, the Wordwall-based educational mathematics game media is feasible to be used as an alternative learning medium to enhance students’ learning motivation in statistics at the senior high school.
