Abstract

Worship is an important part of the Christian faith journey. In worship,there are praise and worship which is very decisive in the success ofworship. To realize successful worship, it takes people who are capableof leading worship such as worship leaders, and singers and the presenceof adequate multimedia support such as easy worship. However, manychurches do not yet have qualified ministers for these tasks, includingGPdI Imanuel Kagungan Rahayu. This public service aims to facilitateand provide training to God's ministers in the church to improve thequality of their services. This Public service is done by the trainingmethod. The participants were very enthusiastic during the training andfollowed the activity until the end. Participants can understand thematerial provided and can practice it during practice sessions. After thepublic service is done, worship leaders, singers, and multi-mediaoperators can apply the material that has been received in churchservices with full responsibility

Abstract

Bullying in the school environment, especially at the high school level, has become an issue that is increasingly disturbing and urgent to be addressed. Many students who are victims of bullying experience lasting negative impacts, both psychologically and socially. This phenomenon not only affects students' academic lives, but can also result in serious emotional problems, such as depression and anxiety. Therefore, it is important to find effective solutions to prevent bullying behavior in schools. In this research, researchers used interview methods to explore in-depth data about individual experiences, opinions or feelings that are difficult to measure quantitatively. The role of Indonesian language teachers is very strategic. Apart from teaching language and literature, teachers have the opportunity to instill moral values ​​through selected learning materials. Literary works, for example, often contain themes of humanity and social interaction that are relevant to bullying behavior. By integrating Christian values ​​in language learning, teachers can help students understand the importance of empathy and compassion in relationships between people. From the results of research that has been conducted, it is clear that Indonesian language teachers at Marisi Medan Private High School have a crucial role in preventing bullying through instilling Christian values.

Abstract

The application of tolerance in education, including in sports subjects, plays an important role in shaping the character of students who respect differences. Sports as a medium for social interaction presents competitive situations that often involve various social backgrounds, cultures, and physical abilities of students. This study aims to analyze the application of tolerance values ​​in sports learning activities in schools, as well as their impact on students' attitudes and behavior. Through a qualitative approach, this study involved direct observation in several schools and interviews with sports teachers and students. The results of the study showed that when tolerance values ​​such as mutual respect, cooperation, and fairness were applied in sports learning, there was a significant increase in discipline, mutual respect, and teamwork among students. In conclusion, sports learning that prioritizes tolerance can have a positive impact on the formation of inclusive attitudes and better social relationships among students.

Abstract

Melihat kurangnya wawasan kebangsaan yang dimiliki anak-anak sekolah minggu di Gereja Pantekosta di Indonesia Imanuel Kagungan Rahayu, maka dianggap perlu untuk melakukan pembinaan wawasan kebangsaan supaya pemahaman kebangsaan dari anak-anak sekolah minggu dapat ditingkatkan, dengan demikian jiwa nasionalisme akan tumbuh sejak dini. Selain itu, gereja belum pernah melakukan pembinaan jiwa nasionalisme secara khusus bagi anak-anak sekolah minggu. Pada masa kini juga terjadinya penurunan rasa nasionalisme di kalangan peserta didik di sekolah dan ini dapat berdampak pada anak-anak sekolah minggu yang belum memiliki pemahaman tentang kebangsaan yang kuat. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan upaya pembinaan sejak dini kepada anak-anak generasi bangsa ini. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pembinaan jiwa nasionalisme kepada anak-anak sekolah minggu agar memiliki rasa cinta akan tanah air Indonesia yang kuat. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksanakan dengan skema berikut: 1) persiapan, 2) pelaksanaan, 3) penyusunan laporan dan publikasi. Kegiatan PkM berupa pembinaan jiwa nasionalisme bagi anak-anak sekolah minggu dilakukan dengan dua cara. Pertama, kegiatan bercerita tentang sejarah kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia dan tanggungjawab anak-anak sekolah minggu sebagai warga negara. Kedua, kegiatan lomba kebangsaan. Ada pun hasil kegiatan ini adalah anak-anak sekolah minggu: 1) memahami sejarah kemerdekaan Indonesia dengan lebih baik, 2) bisa lebih memahami dan menghargai pengorbanan para pahlawan kemerdekaan, 3) bisa mengembangkan rasa cinta terhadap Indonesia. Berdasarkan hasil PkM dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembinaan jiwa nasionalisme bagi anak-anak sekolah minggu perlu dilakukan sejak dini agar jiwa nasionalisme anak-anak tertanam dengan kuat. Pembinaan jiwa nasionalisme bagi anak-anak merupakan tanggungjawab semua pihak termasuk gereja.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the representation of Pancasila values ​​in the painting Laskar Rakyat setting Siasat by Affandi. This painting is considered to have a strong philosophical meaning related to the struggle of the Indonesian people in maintaining independence. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach (library research), where data is obtained from various written sources such as books, scientific journals, articles, and related documents. The data collection technique is carried out through the documentation method, while the data obtained is analyzed using content analysis techniques to identify symbols, colors, and visual elements that reflect the values ​​of Pancasila. The results of the study show that the painting Laskar Rakyat setting Siasat represents the five values ​​of Pancasila. The value of Belief in the One Almighty God is seen in the slogan "Once Independent, Always Independent" which reflects the belief that independence is a gift from God. The value of Just and Civilized Humanity is seen in the solidarity of the fighters without distinguishing backgrounds. The value of Indonesian Unity is realized through the togetherness of the fighters who develop a joint strategy. The value of Democracy Led by the Wisdom of Deliberation and Representation is depicted in the discussion scene among the fighters. Finally, the value of Social Justice for All Indonesian People is reflected through the painting of simple war equipment that shows the struggle of the common people in maintaining independence. This study confirms that works of art, especially Affandi's paintings, are able to be an effective medium in conveying moral messages, values ​​of friendship, and the spirit of struggle.
