Abstract

Abstract

Ramayana Underground Terminal of Bandar Lampung City is one of the largest contributorsexhaust emission levels, where the freight car transport activity is very high. Transportation is oneof the activities that contribute as a producer of motor vehicle exhaust emissions both gasolineand diesel. The aim of this study is to make model the relationship between vehicle exhaust emissions withtransport activity, to determine the factors that affect emissions, calculate emissions, and calculatethe emission losses in rupiah per year in Ramayana Underground Terminal of Bandar LampungCity.Relationship models obtained from the linear regression equation using SPSS 16 for dieselpassenger cars is Y = -19,401 + 0,684 X1 + 11,497 X2 +0,031 X3 and for gasoline passengercars is Y = 20,060 + 0,143 X1 + 0,421 X2 + 0,028 X3 and for motorcycles is Y = 9,049 + 0,082X1 + 0,921 X2 + 0,051 X3. Where the exhaust emissions value (Y), the age of the vehicle (X1),vehicle maintenance (X2) and the capacity of the machine (X3). Based on a survey and analysis ofthe emission load calculations and the cost of damages for Ramayana Underground Terminalworth Rp 63.492.632 / year. Keywords: Transportation, gasoline, diesel, exhaust emissions, SPSS 16

Abstract

This research used primary data and secondary data. The primary data is obtained from the directsurvey result in the form of geometry data, environmental condition data, traffic flow, signaltiming, and long queues. Secondary data consists of the population in Bandar Lampungat 2012that is get from BPS Lampung Province. Data analysis is used the Indonesian Manual HighwayCapacity in 1997 for Signalized Intersections. Based on calculations, it can found that theintersection level of service at aftrenoon peak hour was F with a delay amount 61,50sec/pcu, levelof service at evening peak hour was F with a delay amount 88, 20sec/pcu, and level of service atnight peak hour was F with a delay amount 60, 29sec/pcu. Similarly, with the U Turn result canobtained the intersection level of service at afternoon peak hour was B, level of service at eveningpeak hour was B, and level of service at night peak hour was A.It indicates that the performance ofintersectionis not optimal. To increase the performance of the intersection, need make a changesin the pattern of setting time control become the pattern of not setting time control based on thepeak condition by changing the cycle time, green time, and inter green time. And therecommendation needed for the handling of openings U Turn on Jl. Sultan Agung. Keywords : signalized intersection, delay, performance, U Turn

Abstract

University of Lampung (Unila) is the only one state university in Lampung. There are severalparking areas scattered in each faculty which serves as the campus facilities. The purpose of thisstudy is to find solutions for handling the parking problems in faculty of medicine(FK) andFaculty Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Unila. This study consisted of two phases, which collects parking data, such as a vehicle license platenumber, time of entry and exit of vehicle, and then analyze it with some formula that is used as aparameter conclusion. Some of these parameters are accumulation of vehicle parking, parkingindex, duration of parking, parking capacity, as well as parking turnover rate (PTO).From the analysis conclude that motorcycle parking area at FK can accommodate vehicleparking. While in the existing car parking area can't accommodate parking of vehicles. Then inFMIPA motorcycle parking area can also accommodate parking of the vehicles, whereas theexisting car parking area can't accommodate the vehicles parking neatly. As a solution of theparking problem, we will make plans of car parking area at the FK that can accommodate parkingof car vehicles in both faculties. Keywords : FK, FMIPA, parking index, parking duration , parking capacity, PTO

Abstract

The high value of side friction on the road cause a decrease in performance of the road. Theamount of side friction affects the capasity and speed of ride vehicles. The aim of this research wasto analize the factors that affect the performance degredation of traffic condition on some sidefriction and determine planning solutions to improve the traffic performance. This research are obtained by doing survey of traffic volume (LHR) to see the density of vehicles, then surveys the side friction to see the influence of interference and spot speed surveys bothdistrubed and undistrubed side friction. This research doing in 500 meters in a market segment ofBandarjaya Plaza. Next calculation use the Manual Capasity of Indonesian Road in 1997 for theOutside Urban Road.Based on calculation, then obtained the highest value of the degree of saturation of 1,01 to lineBandarjaya with a volume of vehicles by 1395 pcu/hours, while the capacity of road only 1384pcu/hours. It is indicate the state of the roads is very saturated, so that the necessary repairs theroad performance. The highest level of side friction affecting road performance degredation in theform of vehicles in and out the side road area, so it made procurement solutions median crossingthe road in an attempt to eliminate the vehicle. Keywords : side friction, traffic volume, national road
