Abstract

In the Gospels there are various titles for Jesus. The name is given by the peoples of his name when he meets Jesus. There are times when they call Jesus “Christ the Son of the living God” (Matthew 16:16). They also call Jesus a teacher or rabbi. Jesus is also called the savior of the world for delivering salvation from God to the world. The meaning of Jesus’ titles based on the encounter provides an opportunity for the reflection of Christology in the context of different problems. Jesus the Liberator who is to be reflected in this article is a part of Christological reflection in the context of mission tension and religious plurality and culture on the one hand and socio-political issues and impoverishment on the other. Jesus liberator becomes an alternative reflection of christology in response to the question.

Abstract

The Catholic Church is not the only church and religion that carries out God’s mission of integral human salvation in Papua. He is one of several churches and other religions that carry out the mission. Despite many shortcomings, the Church continues to be faithful in carrying out its mission. The conflict between the Indonesian government and the Papuan people who want the right of self-determination to take place since the 1960s until now has become a challenge for the Church to continue its mission consistently. Consistent Church attitudes must be seen in a position of defense against justice, truth and human safety. The from beginning when Papua began to flare up, the Catholic Church played a central axis role. This means that the Church does not support the “M” aspiration for the Papuan people and the way the Indonesian government defends Papua by force. The Catholic Church as a unifier with other churches and religions chooses the path of dialogue with the parties concerned to keep promoting and fighting for a peaceful Papua apartfrom carrying out the proclaiming of faith and human development in all aspects of life.

Abstract

AbstractThe role of the heart is very important in human life. The heart is not only synonymous with feeling but also has a rational intuitive. With careful human life develops in a balanced and meaningful. Thereby heart being one of the central human strength that should be put forward. Forward the heart does not mean ignoring other powers such as seeing, feeling, thinking, and acting up to the soul and spirit in relation to the Supreme Being. Putting forward the 'heart' means "heart is central" (central) in all human activities done with various abilities that exist in him. In this reflection I will show that the heart must be a shaft for all human strength. The location of the heart at the central point can connect the whole reality of human power to enable man to lead to the wisdom of his life. Humans who only rely on the ratio is not necessarily wise or who just rely on feelings are also not necessarily wise. Similarly a diligent man, not necessarily wise. Man is said to be wise when all elements of humanity function in a balanced way. It is the heart that unites all the elements of humanity.
