Abstract

This study examined the effect of quality of service and service procedures to the satisfaction of the people in the Office of Licensing Services and Investment Kabupaten Temanggung. The variable quality of services consisting of officer discipline, officer responsibilities, personnel capabilities, speed of service, fairness, and courtesy and hospitality workers. While variable service procedures consist of the ease of service procedures, in common with the kind of service requirements, clarity and certainty, reasonableness of costs, compliance costs are set by paid, the accuracy of the time schedule service, environmental comfort, and security services. The population in this study are all the applicant's licensing services with a sample of 192 respondents were selected by accidental sampling method. The results showed that the index of satisfaction of the people who are in the good category, the best elements contained on politeness and friendliness officers and the lowest gain in speed of service elements. Hypothesis test results indicate that the quality and service procedures significantly positive effect on people's satisfaction in public service.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi profitabilitas pada bank devisa di Indonesia menggunakan Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Biaya Operasional terhadap Pendapatan Operasional (BOPO), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Net Interest Margin (NIM) sebagai variabel penjelas, dan Return On Assets (ROA) sebagai proksi variabel profitabilitas. Populasi penelitian ini adalah bank devisa go public yang tercatat di Bank Indonesia periode tahun 2007 hingga 2012. Setelah dilakukan pemilihan dengan metode purposive sampling, didapat 17 bank devisa go public untuk diuji menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil uji hipotesis secara simultan menunjukan bahwa CAR, BOPO, LDR, dan NIM berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas bank devisa, sedangkan secara parsial variabel CAR, BOPO, dan NIM memiliki pengaruh signifikan, kecuali LDR yang tidak menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan terhadap ROA. Selain itu, Nilai adjusted R2 yang didapat dari analisis, memperlihatkan kekuatan model sebesar 40,9%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 59,1% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.This study aims to determine the factors that affect the profitability of foreign exchange banks in Indonesia using the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Cost Operational to Operating Income (ROA), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Net Interest Margin (NIM) as explanatory variables and Return On Assets (ROA) as a proxy variable profitability. This study population is a publicly traded foreign exchange bank Bank Indonesia recorded in the period from 2007 until 2012. After selecting the purposive sampling method, obtained a total of 17 foreign banks to go public to be tested using multiple linear regression analysis technique. Results of simultaneous hypothesis test showed that the CAR, ROA, LDR, and NIM significant effect on the profitability of foreign banks, while in partial CAR, ROA and NIM have a significant effect on ROA, except LDR that showed no significant effect on the profitability of foreign banks. In addition, the adjusted R2 value obtained from the analysis, showing the strength of the model by 40.9%, and the remaining 59.1% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to compare the financial performance between Commercial Conventional Bank and Commercial Sharia Bank in Indonesia on 2010-2015 periods using the financial ratios. The ratios that used in this research is LDR/FDR, CAR, ROA, BOPO, and NPL/NPF. Sample of this reasarch’s collected by using purposive sampling technique, the sample was chosen when it fulfilled the criteria that has been determined before.Financial ratios data in this research obtained from Published Financial Statement of Commercial Conventional Bank and Commercial Sharia Bank from 2010 to 2015 that published by each bank’s group. There were 144 samples obtained to be studied from Commercial Conventional Bank and 144 samples obtained to be studied from Commercial Sharia Bank in Indonesia.Method that used to analyze the data was independent t-test. The result of this research shown that there are significance difference between liquidity aspect, profitability aspect, solvability aspect, and asset’s quality aspect of Commercial Conventional Bank and Commercial Sharia Bank. Generally, the Financial Performance of Commercial Conventional Bank better than Commercial Sharia Bank.
