Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, companies experienced changes in working hours and faced different work situations from before the pandemic. One of the most important things to face these challenges is how to maintain the performance of the company's employees so that they continue to give their best performance. This is due to health threats, changes in the work system, and changes in the environmental conditions faced. The novelty of the study when compared with previous studies is that there are differences in exogenous variables. The researcher analyzed the influence of the safety culture and sense of belonging variables on performance, which was processed using SMART PLS to determine the magnitude of the influence of each variable indicator. The research method used is a quantitative method with a survey approach. This study used a sample of 66 people who were obtained by random sampling technique, had a minimum of one year of work experience and were permanent employees of the company. Each variable will be tested for convergent validity, discriminant validity, reliability, R2, and significance. The results of the research based on the value of R2 show that the culture of safety and sense of belonging has an influence of 24.6% on performance. The safety culture indicators have a significant effect on performance with a T count = 4.655, while the sense of belonging has a significant effect on performance with a T count = 3.451. Finally, it can be concluded from the results of research on employees of manufacturing companies in Merak Banten that both latent variables exogenous safety culture (X1) and sense of belonging (X2) with their indicators significantly affect performance (Y). This means that by increasing the culture of safety and sense of belonging, it will be able to improve employee performance in the company.

Abstract

In order to support the realisation of Making Indonesia 4.0 through the increasing of the quality of human resources, it has been done the dominant analysis of the influence of the on the job training to the improvement of the employee performance in a company. While the result obtained are expected to have an impact to the management policy and decision making which is related to the effort to increase the employee performance quality. And at the end, the employee deliver the best performance and the best quality product to meet the consumer expectation. The research used descriptive and correlative design, with test of validity, normality, reliability, variance homogenity, independency test and t test to validate the hypothesis. The research conclude that the frequency of the on the job training should be increased to meet the superior employee performance quality in line with company profitability concern in the future.Keywords: on the job training, performance, influence, dominant, and improvement.

Abstract

ABSTRACTAlthough the poverty rate in Indonesia for several years has always decreased, but for provinces or districts that have underdevelopend or lagging regions indicate that the poverty rate in the area is still quite high, especially on Madura Island. Madura Island has a high poverty rate even int the Sampang district has the highest percentage on the island of Java. With abundant natural resources which are expected to increase economic growth and reduce poverty if managed properly. This study aims to determine whether the four independent variables influence the poverty rate on Madura Island in 2004-2015. The data used in this study is to use secondary data in the form of time series data in 2004-2015 and a cross section of 4 district in Madura Island. In this research the independent variables is open unemployment, human development index, gross regional domestik product, and minimum wages. While dependent variable is poverty level in Madura Island. With using panel data estimation models and fixed effect model approaches. Based on the results of the analysis it can be concluded that partially the open unemployment rate variables have a positive and significat effect on poverty level, human development index has a negative and significant effect on poverty, gross regional products have a negative and not significant effect on poverty level, minimum wages has a negative and significant effect simultaneous poverty level all independent variables have a significant effect on poverty level in Madura Island.Keywords: Poverty, Open Unemployment, HDI, GDRP, Minimum Wage

Abstract

Pada saat ini dunia industri sedang mendapat perhatian khusus karena pentingnya peran industri bagi peningkatan kesejahteraan rakyat dan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Selain itu terjadi hal yang bertolak belakang yaitu adanya pemutusan kerja yang disebabkan karena adanya kasus korupsi, kolusi, nepotisme, turnover yang tinggi, menurunnya produktivitas, dan belum optimalnya kinerja pada perusahaan. Oleh karena hal tersebut maka pada penelitian ini sangat menarik untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi turnover intention pegawai. Adapun tujuannya adalah untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh stres kerja dan karakteristik personal terhadap turnover intention pegawai pada sebuah perusahaan di Suralaya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode analisis regresi linear berganda. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 110 pegawai, dan diambil sampel sebanyak 84 pegawai divisi operasi unit dengan menggunakan probability sampling. Data primer diperoleh melalui hasil kuesioner dan data sekunder diperoleh dari hasil wawancara dan laporan perusahaan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa :1) Terdapat pengaruh negatif yang signifikan antara stres kerja dan turnover intention pegawai tetap divisi operasi unit, 2) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara karakteristik personal dan turnover intention pegawai tetap divisi operasi unit, 3) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara stres kerja dan karakteristik personal terhadap turnover intention pegawai tetap divisi operasi unit. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini, diharapkan akan menjadi bahan pertimbangan dasar pengambilan keputusan manajemen perusahaan untuk menurunkan angka turnover pegawai. Katakunci : karakteristik personal, stres kerja, turnover intention.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat merupakan kewajiban yang harus dilaksanakan oleh dosen bersama dengan mahasiswa. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Susukan Kecamatan Tirtayasa. Tujuan dari pengabdian adalah meningkatkan ketrampilan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat dengan membuat produk-produk inovatif hasil UMKM. Adanya inovasi dari produk-produk tersebut diharapkan mampu memberikan nilai jual lebih, sehingga dapat meningkatkan keuntungan yang diperoleh para pelaku usaha. Selama ini produk bolu kukus yang banyak dijual kurang variatif, sehingga diperlukan adanya inovasi agar berkembang. Pembuatan bolu kukus berkarakter yang diberi merek Rainbow Cake, tidak memerlukan penambahan biaya produksi yang besar, tetapi diperlukan kreatifitas kemampuan untuk menggambar di atas bolu. Dengan memberikan pelatihan pembuatan bolu kukus berkarakter diharapkan selain mengasah ketrampilan para pelaku usaha dalam berkreatif dengan seni menggambar di atas bolu, tetapi juga akan meningkatkan penghasilan. Pada pelatihan diberikan juga cara-cara pengemasan dan labeling produk agar lebih bersih dan menarik. Selain itu bolu kukus berkarakter diharapkan mampu memperluas segmen pasar, sehingga dapat dijadikan produk favorit untuk semua kalangan masyarakat. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat selain memberikan tantangan kepada para dosen dan mahasiswa agar lebih kreatif dan inovatif, juga akan meningkatkan kualitas  dan keberalangsungan produk yang dihasilkan pada waktu yang akan datang.

Abstract

This community service is carried out by lecturers at the university, in order to participate actively in improving the quality of human resources through counseling and workshops. Counseling and workshops carried out are related to efforts to increase motivation, innovation and creativity in MSMEs, especially handicrafts made from beads. The results of MSMEs in the form of handicrafts from beads are still very much needed to be continuously improved. Besides that the market for bead creativity products is still very widely opened. The results of these beadsare  in the form of prayer beads and various women's jewelry such as bracelets and necklaces. The handicrafts are chosen because the method of making them is quite easy and the ingredients needed are easy to obtain. The method used in this service is participatory approach, and the respondents consist of the community as business actors. Respondents also participated directly in the focus group discussion, interviews, training, workshops, consuls, and executions. Through the implementation of this service it is hoped that it will be able to encourage the growth and development of MSMEs to improve community welfare and improve the quality of the active role of lecturers as a form of concern for improving the quality of human resources in the community.

Abstract

Situasi pandemi seperti ini membuat semua aktivitas masyarakat harus tetap mengikuti protokol kesehatan yang ada, seperti menjaga jarak, memakai masker, mencuci tangan, menjauhi kerumunan, dan mengurangi mobilitas. Hal ini membuat masyarakat harus melakukan perkerjaan dari rumah. Tujuan dilakukannya pengabdian pada situasi Pandemi Covid-19 adalah membantu masyarakat yang terdampak baik dari segi pendidikan, ekonomi, dan membangun desa yang berkelanjutan dengan mengadakan kegiatan bimbingan belajar, mengadakan pelatihan pembuatan produk makanan sehat dari bahan dasar tepung labu kuning, sehingga dapat menciptakan kemandirian ekonomi di masyarakat dengan mematuhi protokol kesehatan yang ada, dalam rangka mencegahan penyebaran Covid-19. Masih banyak masyarakat yang kurang peduli pada situasi, dan kondisi seperti ini, maka dari itu melalui adanya program ini, kami mengedukasi masyarakat tentang pentingnya pola hidup sehat dan selalu menjaga kebersihan lingkungan dengan mematuhi protokol kesehatan yang ada. Kemudian produk unggulan yang kami ciptakan adalah Tepung Labu Kuning yang dapat di kreasikan menjadi berbagai macam produk makanan sehat di situasi pandemi Covid-19 seperti ini, kamipun bersama masyarakat membuat berbagai olahan makanan dari bahan dasar tepung labu kuning ini, sehingga nantinya masyarakat dapat membuat sendiri olahan makanan dari bahan dasar tepung labu kuning serta dapat meningkatkan perekonomian di masyarakat
