Abstract

Banana tree trunk waste is considered as wasted material rather than being used as a material with high economic value. whereas the banana tree trunk waste is a material that is easily found in the community or villages, so it does not rule out the possibility of utilizing this banana trunk waste as head material. This study aims to try to find more value from banana tree trunk waste to be used as a head accessory, by utilizing banana tree trunk waste as material, the head accessories that will be made are brooch patches, headpieces, bandanas, and hats. The study was conducted to determine the production process of the utilization of banana tree trunk waste for the head accessories. The method used is the method of observation to the banana tree stem midrib to find out the production process from the beginning to become a product, this production process uses weaving technique. The product that will be produced in the process of producing banana tree trunk waste is in the form of head accessories, namely brooch patch, headpiece, bandana, and hat. The results of research on the production process of banana tree trunk waste can reduce waste and can become a renewable resource into the utilization of banana tree trunk waste. The resulting product can be ahead of the accessory product and increase the economic and aesthetic value and function of the waste.

Abstract

Traditional clothing is one of the traditional cultures which is still favored and used on various occasions. So in other words, traditional clothing today has the potential to be developed into a novelty following today's lifestyle. This renewal is none other than the result of the needs of today's human lifestyle regardless of whether or not the original meaning of traditional clothing has changed. Currently, there are a lot of design developments from traditional Lampung clothing, starting from the shape, size, to the material. These changes are caused by changes in lifestyle and current environmental conditions. It is not yet certain whether these changes still contain the same meaning and image as the original design of the traditional clothing itself, while the preservation of the original meaning of traditional clothing is very important for the preservation of the culture itself. When a design is changed or developed without considering the message from the maker, there is a possibility that the message of the design will shift.This research aims to review the meaning of the traditional wedding dress of the women of the Lampung Pesisir, namely Siger through a case study and literature study review. The research object chosen was Nikita Willy's pre-wedding photo due to the newness of the photo publication, so that it was considered that the Siger used was also a new product. The results of the research will be in the form of a collection of design review data from Siger Lampung Pesisir used in Nikita Willy's pre-wedding photo. The results of this research will be useful for the development of similar product designs so that they can meet and answer the need for fashion products with local cultural content that are per the needs of today's lifestyle but still uphold the original values of the culture. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, namely the collection of data in the form of literature review related to Siger women of the Lampung tribe both from its history and the meaning contained in the product. The researcher then used product semantic theory as a means of translating the meaning and characteristics of the design of the research object.

Abstract

Kolase fashion 3D merupakan salah satu metode yang digunakan oleh desainer dalam memvisualisasikan sebuah desain fashion. Kolase fashion 3D adalah kumpulan komposisi berupa gambar rancangan fashion yang dilengkapi berbagai warna, motif, material baik kain maupun objek lain yang dibuat untuk merepresentasikan sebuah rencana rancangan desain baik untuk pribadi maupun orang lain. Mengetahui dan memahami cara pembuatan kolase fashion 3D dapat membantu calon desainer fashion atau pun masyarakat yang memiliki minat terhadap fashion dalam membuat suatu rancangan. Siswa dan siswi pada SMAN 3 Tangerang merupakan calon-calon bibit unggul dalam berkarya di berbagai bidang antara lain fashion. Perkembangan dunia fashion saat ini merupakan kesempatan besar yang dapat digunakan oleh Siswa dan siswi untuk meraih masa depan yang lebih cerah. Dengan pelatihan membuat kolase fashion 3D ini siswa/i akan mendapatkan pengetahuan tambahan yang dapat dimanfaatkan kelak ketika mereka ingin terjun dalam industri fashion. Juga akan membuka peluang untuk dapat berkarya dan berwirausaha. Pelatihan pembuatan Kolase fashion 3D ini akan dilaksanakan dalam beberapa tahapan yaitu; tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi. Tahap persiapan terdiri atas pembuatan proposal, menghubungi pihak mitra dan merencakan kegiatan bursama mitra. Tahap pelaksanaan terdiri atas penyampaian materi dan workshop pembuatan Kolase fashion 3D. Kegiatan pelaksaan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini kemudian ditutup dengann pembuatan laporan dan evaluasi kegiatan sebagai bekal pelaksanaan kegiatan lanjutan berikutnya. Hasil pelatihan ini juga akan dimuat dalam artikel jurnal dan publikasi media massa agar dapat menjadi referensi dalam pengembangan kegiatan pelatihan sejenis lainnya
