Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan berpikir kreatif calon guru fisika dan pelaksanaan model project-based e-learning. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis proyek menggunakan e-learning Moodle dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif calon guru fisika selama mengikuti pembelajaran. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan lembar penilaian keterampilan berpikir kreatif. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 14 calon guru fisika yang menempuh mata kuliah multimedia pembelajaran fisika pada semester genap 2020/2021 di Tadris Fisika Universitas Islam Negeri Antasari Banjarmasin. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskripsi kualitatif terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan deskripsi kuantitatif terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mata kuliah multimedia pembelajaran fisika telah dilaksanakan secara daring berbantuan e-learning Moodle dan menerapkan model project-based learning dengan tahapan 1) penentuan pertanyaan mendasar, 2) merancang proyek, 3) menyusun jadwal, 4) memantau kemajuan proyek, 5) penilaian hasil, 6) evaluasi pengalaman. Persentase pencapaian indikator keterampilan berpikir kreatif calon guru fisika termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik yaitu merinci/ elaboration (91%), sedangkan indikator lainnya termasuk dalam kategori baik, berpikir lancar/fluency (83%), keluwesan/ flexibility (83%), keaslian/ originality (80%). Dengan demikian project-based learning yang dilaksanakan secara daring dengan bantuan e-learning Moodle dapat diimplementasikan dalam perkuliahan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif calon guru fisika. This study aims to describe the creative thinking skills of physics teacher candidates and the implementation of a project-based e-learning model. This research uses a descriptive method. Data were obtained through observation of the implementation of project-based e-learning using Moodle and the creative thinking skills of physics teacher candidates during the lesson. The subjects of this study consisted of 14 physics teacher candidates who took multimedia courses in 2020/2021 at Tadris Fisika, Antasari State Islamic University, Banjarmasin. The results show that the multimedia course had been conducted with Moodle e-learning and applied a project-based learning model. The learning steps are 1) start with the essential question, 2) design project, 3) create a schedules, 4) monitor the progress of project, 5) assess the outcome , 6) evaluate the experience. The percentage of achievement indicators of creative thinking skills for physics teacher candidates is included in the very good category, namely elaboration (91%), while other indicators are included in the good category, fluently (83%), flexibility (83%), originality (80%). Thus, project-based learning with Moodle e-learning can be applied in lectures to develop the creative thinking skills of physics teacher candidates.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kepraktisan buku ajar listrik magnet Seri 2 bermuatan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an menggunakan model pembelajaran CORE (Connecting-Organizing-Reflecting-Expanding). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan menggunakan model 4D. Penelitian ini menggunakan mahasiswa calon guru fisika berjumlah 14 orang yang sedang mempelajari topik listrik pada mata kuliah listrik magnet di tahun akademik 2020/2021 sebagai subjek ujicoba. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket respon mahasiswa, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan aktivitas mahasiswa, dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan aktivitas dosen. Analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh buku ajar praktis digunakan karena skor rata-rata indikator kemudahan penggunaan, efisiensi waktu pembelajaran, manfaat buku ajar, dan ketertarikan terhadap buku ajar sebesar 4,00; skor rata-rata keterlaksanaan aktivitas dosen di kelas sebesar 4,52; dan skor rata-rata keterlaksanaan aktivitas mahasiswa di kelas sebesar 3,91. Oleh karena itu, buku ajar yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan pada perkuliahan listrik magnet. Selain itu, buku ajar yang dikembangkan hendaknya diuji pada sampel yang lebih besar. This research aimed to describe Electricity and Magnetism Series 2 textbook practicality that contained Al-Qur’an verses that used CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, dan Extending) learning model. The research was research and development that used a 4D model. The study used 14 prospective teachers who learned electricity topics in the Electricity and Magnetism course of the 2020/2021 academic year as subjects. The data were collected through the students’ responses questionnaire, observation sheet of student activities implementation, and lecturer activities implementation. The analysis data were conducted quantitatively and qualitatively. Based on the result of the research, the textbook practicality was practical because the average score of easy to use, learning time efficiency, benefit, and interest were 4.00, the lecturer activities implementation average score was 4.52, and the student activities implementation average score was 3.91. Therefore, this textbook could be used in Electricity and Magnetism course. Furthermore, this textbook should be tested on a larger sample.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskipsikan kelayakan buku ajar berbasis model pembelajaran CORE dan bermuatan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an yang dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif dan melatih karakter religius mahasiswa calon guru fisika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model 4D. Subjek ujicoba penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa calon guru fisika berjumlah 14 orang yang sedang mempelajari topik listrik pada mata kuliah Listrik Magnet di tahun akademik 2020/2021. Data diperoleh melalui lembar validasi, inventori evaluasi diri, lembar observasi, dan soal tes. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku ajar memiliki validitas yang sangat baik dengan nilai rata-rata 89,31%; efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif mahasiswa dengan nilai N-gain sebesar 0,56 dalam kategori medium; dan effect size sebesar 3,09 dalam kategori berpengaruh kuat. Selain itu, buku ajar juga mampu menjadikan mahasiswa memiliki karakter religius dengan sangat baik dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 4,66. Dengan demikian, buku ajar yang dikembangkan layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan melatih karakter religius pada mata kuliah Listrik Magnet.The research aims to describe the feasibility of a developed textbook based on the CORE learning model containing Al-Qur’an verses to improve student cognitive learning outcomes and train prospective physics teachers to do religious behaviour. The research used to research and development with the development model of 4D. The subjects of this research were 14 students of the 2020/2021 academic year who learned electricity topics in the Electricity and Magnetism course. The data were obtained through a validation sheet, self-evaluation inventory sheet, observation sheet, and test. The data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The result of the research showed that textbook validity was very well with an average score of 89.31%, students’ cognitive learning outcomes improved with an N-Gain score of 0.56 in the medium category, and an effect size score of 3.09 in the strong effect category. Then, the textbook made students have religious characters very well, with an average score of 4.66. This research concludes that the textbook could improve cognitive learning outcomes and train religious characters in Electricity and Magnetism course.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Self-regulated learning mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran daring saat pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah 46 mahasiswa Tadris Fisika UIN Antasari Banjarmasin. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket Self-regulated learning yang terdiri dari 17 pernyataan dengan skala Likert 1-5. Indikator Self-regulated learning meliputi strategi kognitif, strategi motivasi, dan strategi perilaku. Item pernyataan dalam angket telah dinyatakan valid dan reliabel (α=0,832). Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif meliputi skor minimal, skor maksimal, mean, dan standar deviasi.  Selanjutnya Self-regulated learning mahasiswa dipersentase dan dikategorisasi menjadi lima kategori yaitu sangat baik, baik, cukup, kurang, kurang sekali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rerata skor Self-regulated learning mahasiswa adalah 58,91 (dengan ketercapaian 69%) dengan SD 7,73; skor minimal 34; skor maksimal 73. Rata-rata persentase setiap indikator adalah strategi kognitif 68%, strategi motivasi 68%, dan strategi perilaku 72%. Self-regulated learning mahasiswa termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik 2%, baik 22%, cukup 65%, kurang 7%, kurang sekali 4%. Sebagian besar Self-regulated learning mahasiswa berada pada kategori cukup. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut tentang intervensi yang dapat meningkatkan Self-regulated learning mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

The development of an interactive e-module based on inquiry learning assisted by a virtual laboratory on static electricity was created to produce innovative learning media and follow the trends of the 5.0 learning era. Therefore, the research was directed at validating the material and media in related modules and measuring students' responses to the modules being developed. This research used Borg and Gall's ten-step research and development model. However, the Borg and Gall development model in this study was modified into six research steps: research and information collecting, planning, developing preliminary from product, preliminary field testing, main product revision, and main field testing. The research respondents were 30 students from class XII IPA at MAN 1 Hulu Sungai Tengah. The product validity results by material experts reached V Aiken's 0.91, and media experts reached V Aiken's 0.96, both of which are in the high validity category. The results of student responses show an average value of 90%, equivalent to a very good product category. Thus, the interactive e-module based on inquiry learning assisted by the virtual laboratory on static electricity is included in the “strongly agree” category to be suitable for use.

Abstract

Bahan ajar diperlukan dalam pembelajaran sains dan dapat dijadikan acuan peserta didik untuk memiliki kemampuan multidisipliner dan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Salah satunya adalah Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD). Akan tetapi, kemampuan guru dalam menyusun LKPD masih belum optimal. Apalagi menggunakan pendekatan yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS) peserta didik, seperti STEM. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan wawadan dan mendampingi guru sains dalam menyusun LKPD STEM for HOTS. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan tahapan Diagnose, Act, Measure dan Reflect. Kegiatan ini berorientasi sosial dan melibatkan kerja sama para praktisi dan partisipasi masyarakat untuk memberikan kontribusi pada perubahan masyarakat. Bentuk kegiatannya adalah melaksanakan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada guru sains di Kalimantan Selatan untuk menyusun LKPD STEM for HOTS. Subjek PkM ini adalah guru mata pelajaran Biologi, Fisika dan Kimia dari berbagai sekolah di Banjarmasin dan sekitarnya. PkM dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus 2020 saat pandemic Covid-19 secara offline dan dihadiri oleh 25 peserta yang merupakan guru dan calon guru sains di sekitar Banjarmasin. Hasil PkM menunjukkan bahwa guru dan calon guru sains dapat terlatih dalam menyusun LKPD berbasis STEM for HOTS. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini, guru dan calon guru sains dapat memahami dan mengaplikasikan variasi pendekatan pembelajaran dalam penyusunan LKPD untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran di sekolah masing-masing. Dengan demikian, pelatihan penyusunan LKPD berbasis STEM for HOTS dapat terlaksana dengan baik dan mewujudkan bahan yang inovatif.Teaching materials are needed in science learning. One of them is Student Worksheets (LKPD). However, the teacher's ability to prepare LKPD is still not optimal. Moreover, using an approach that can improve students' higher-order thinking skills (HOTS), such as STEM. This Community Service (PkM) aims to guide and assist science teachers in preparing STEM LKPD for HOTS. This PkM activity uses a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach with the stages of Diagnose, Act, Measure, and Reflect. This activity is socially oriented and involves the collaboration of practitioners and community participation to contribute to societal change. The form of its activities is to conduct training and mentoring for science teachers in South Kalimantan to prepare STEM LKPD for HOTS. The PkM subjects were Biology, Physics, and Chemistry teachers from various schools in Banjarmasin and its surroundings. PkM was held in August 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic offline and was attended by 25 participants who are teachers and prospective science teachers around Banjarmasin. The PkM results show that teachers and prospective science teachers can be trained in preparing STEM-based worksheets for HOTS. With this training, science teachers and prospective science teachers can add experience and a variety of learning approaches implemented in their respective schools. Thus, the STEM for HOTS-based LKPD preparation training can be carried out properly and create innovative materials.

Abstract

The Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) has released the results of the 2022 ranking, where the average score of Indonesian students' scientific literacy skills has decreased. The results of a preliminary study at SMAN 5 Banjarbaru showed that one of the factors in the decline in scientific literacy was the lack of student participation in physics learning because it was considered difficult by students. To overcome this problem, project-based learning (PjBL) was implemented with STEM integration through viral food on social media called Seblak Rafael. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of STEM-PjBL learning through the Seblak Rafael project and the increase in students' scientific literacy after participating in the learning. This study used a mixed method with an Embedded Design. The research subjects consisted of 39 eleventh grade students. Data on the implementation of STEM-PjBL learning through the Seblak Rafael project were obtained through observation which was then subjected to descriptive analysis. Scientific literacy data were obtained through tests with reasoned multiple-choice questions which were then analyzed for improvement using N-gain. The results of the study showed that the implementation of STEM-PjBL learning through the Seblak Rafael project obtained a percentage of 87% in the very good category with the stages of starting with the essential question, designing a plan for the project, creating a schedule, monitoring the student and the progress of the project, assessing the outcome, evaluating the experience. The increase in students' scientific literacy through this learning obtained an N-Gain value of 0.53 which is included in the moderate criteria.
