Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between transformational leadership with work engagement on employees in company X at the age as a control subject. This research method is quantitative research. The research subjects were 56 people who were selected by non-probability sampling technique, saturated sampling. Work engagement and transformational leadership are measured using a work engagement scale called UWES-17 which consists of 17 items and a transformational leadership scale. Correlation test with partial correlation technique was used to analyze SPSS 16.0 for Windows. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between transformational leadership and control of work engagement according to age with a value of r = 0.407, p = 0.002 (p < 0.05). In conclusion, work engagement and transformational leadership of Company X are high. Most aspects of transformational leadership are related to this aspect of work engagement. The correlation between transformational leadership and job involvement is influenced by various factors such as age and gender. Keywords: Transformational Leadership, Job Engagement, Perception

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara flow at work dan OCB pada dosen dan karyawan pendukung akademik. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan positif antara flow at work dan OCB pada dosen dan karyawan pendukung akademik. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 78 (44 dosen dan 34 karyawan pendukung akademik) yang bekerja di Universitas X. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan Skala Work-Related Flow Inventory (WOLF) oleh Bakker (2008) dan OCB oleh Organ (2006) yang diadaptasi dari Liman (2018). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan dan positif antara flow at work dan OCB pada dosen dan karyawan pendukung akademik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and explain the description of commitment to the organization of lecturers and academic support staff at DKI Jakarta private universities. This study uses a quantitative approach method, and the analysis technique was done by descriptive analysis. The subjects in this study were lecturers and employees at at DKI Jakarta private universities, with 432 participants consisting of 216 lecturer and 216 employees. The sampling technique used in this research is cluster random sampling. The scale used was organizational commitment. The results of this study have described that lecturers and employees at DKI Jakarta private universities have different commitments. The lecturers have affective commitment (AC) and employees have continuance commitment (CC).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi kesejahteraan organisasi pada dosen dan karyawan pendukung akademik perguruan tinggi swasta di Pulau Jawa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan teknik analisis data deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini merupakan dosen dan karyawan pendukung akademik di perguruan tinggi swasta di pulau Jawa, dengan partisipan 95 orang yang terdiri dari 45 dosen dan 50 karyawan pendukung akademik. Teknik sampling yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling. Skala yang digunakan adalah skala kesejahteraan organisasi. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu dosen dan karyawan pendukung akademik di perguruan tinggi swasta di pulau Jawa memandang perguruan tinggi swasta tempat mereka bekerja belum sejahtera
