Abstract

Digital signage is a digital information board whose function is to replace conventional information boards, digital signage can contain digital information such as text, images and video. Nowadays digital signage has been widely developed as an information medium. such as prayer schedule information, advertising media and expression speech. The use of computers for digital operation there are still some drawbacks such as large device sizes and expensive realtive prices, therefore micro-computer use such as raspberry pi for its operation. Micro computers are more practical to use because of their small size and relatively cheaper price than ordinary computers. The result of designing this digital signage system uses two types of systems, namely offline system (localhost) and online system (Web Hosting). The results of the study showed a presentation value of 100% for black box testing in all input fields. RAM usage when using online systems is quite high compared to ram usage when using offline systems, the average use of online system RAM is 476.73 MB while ram usage for offline systems is 395.3 MB. CPU load when using Offline system increased by an average value of 54.45% while CPU load usage on online systems was smaller with an average value of 43.26%. For online systems.

Abstract

This Long Range communication technology is widely used as a substitute for LTE communication tools, but sending text, images, and voice in Long Range communication has a different performance ratio of transmission time speed. This tool uses two TTGO ESP32 LoRa modules, the tools used to design the application using the MIT App Invertor and an additional device, a USB OTG cable. The way this tool works is to send text, image and voice messages without using a server but using point-to-point communication between two devices. The test results of sending text, images, and voice on Long Range communications that have been carried out in data loss testing conditions, show that the results of sending text messages, the farther the distance, the delivery speed is relatively stable with a delay of 1.2 seconds, while for sending images the delay results are getting bigger which is 3.9 seconds and for voice transmission it is not very compatible because LoRa devices can only send 256 bytes of data packets.   Keywords: Pesan Teks, Gambar, Suara, App Inventor, TTGO ESP32 LoRa.

Abstract

In the digital era, information boards have migrated from conventional forms to digital forms, hence the term digital signage. Digital signage is a digital device that has been programmed to display information through a monitor board, LCD TV, PLASMA TV, projectors, and digital billboards. Currently, it is very common for us to pay attention to an information board in offices, in lecture buildings, at airports, and train stations in the form of a flat screen monitor controlled by a computer. Among them, the media can only be placed in one place and it is relatively difficult to move. Therefore, the use of computers will be replaced by using raspberry pi as the operating medium. This research includes raspberry pi, RGB LED as a screen to display information and the web to change data or information displayed on the RGB LED screen. Based on the research conducted, it was found that data in the form of images or videos can be displayed on the RGB LED screen using the web.

Abstract

Lo-Ra (Long Range) is a process of changing a certain periodic wave so that it becomes a signal capable of carrying information. LoRa technology offers a very attractive long term. Such as using low power and data transfer that is guaranteed security. Public networks that use LoRa networks will be able to provide a wider signal coverage. Compared to cellular networks in general, LoRa is a network that covers a wider range. Besides that, it is also easy to fit into the needs we need. This need is like any other electronic device that uses wireless installation. The making of this tool is a fire detector to reduce the impact of forest fires and has advantages over other tools, namely that many fire detection tools used do not meet criteria such as sending information that cannot reach long distances so that a tool that can solve this problem appears, namely Long Range ( LoRa), LoRa can anticipate lost GSM signal coverage. The purpose of this research is to detect and monitor the level of vulnerability to fire and provide information to officers in real time which will be displayed on the blynk. The results of this study obtained that this tool is able to detect forest fires up to a distance of 700 meters, if it exceeds that distance the reading will be error, this tool detects forest fires by reading the three sensors, if the three sensors have reached the threshold point, namely with a temperature sensor greater than 40 degrees Celsius, the humidity sensor value is less than 61%, and the smoke sensor value exceeds 2670 ppm, the tool will give a fire warning that will appear on the Blynk notification. at a distance of up to 700 m, the average delay for node 1 reaches 23.2 seconds and the average delay for node 2 reaches 54.5 seconds. And it can also be seen that the average percentage of temperature error obtained at node 1 reaches 4%, and the average error in humidity for node 1 reaches 6.4%, then the average percentage error temperature obtained at node 2 reaches 8.5%, and the average error at node 2 humidity reaches 18%.
