<![CDATA[This study aimed to explain the financial performance of the company based on the analysis EVA (Economic Value Added). This research is descriptive study with a quantitative approach. The data used are secondary data, obtained from BEI corner and www.idx.co.id site. The selection of the sample using judgement sampling method. This study is using sample from 5 pharmacy companies listed on the Stock Exchange 2010-2012. The data analysis starts form calculation of cost of capital, cost of share, capital structure, Net Operating Profit After Taxes, Weighted Avarage Cost of Capital and the last EVA. The results of this study showed the negative value of EVA only 3 pharmacy companies PT.Kimia Farma (Persero), Tbk Rp.-19.923.733.488,0 (2010), PT.Kalbe Farma, Tbk Rp.-1.186.067.008.010,008 (2010), PT. Pyridam Farma, Tbk Rp.-4.782.389.278. The value of dividend per share and interest expense from the companies being important factors in determining the EVA. Keywords: EVA (Economic Value Added), Dividend per Share, Interest Expenses.ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan kinerja keuangan perusahaan berdasarkan analisis EVA (Economic Value Added). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder, yang diperoleh dari pojok BEI dan situs www.idx.co.id. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan metode judgement sampling. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 5 perusahaan farmasi yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2010-2012. Analisis data dimulai dari perhitungan biaya modal, biaya saham, struktur permodalan, menentukan NOPAT, WACC dan terahir EVA. Hasil dari penelitiaan ini diperoleh nilai EVA negatif pada 3 perusahaan farmasi yaitu PT.Kimia Farma (Persero), Tbk Rp.-19.923.733.488,0 (2010), PT.Kalbe Farma, Tbk Rp.-1.186.067.008.010,008 (2010) PT. Pyridam Farma, Tbk Rp.-4.782.389.278 (2010) Nilai dividen per saham dan beban bunga dari masing-masing Perusahaan menjadi faktor penting dalam menentukan nilai EVA.
