Abstract

The main source of electricity supply, namely PLN, greatly affects the supply of electricity and is not always continuous in its distribution. PLN power outages cause the distribution of human activities and productivity. The solution is to create a hybrid automatic transfer switch (ATS) system. The system works automatically as a hybrid power plant using a solar cell and PLN using ATS and remote monitoring using android. This type of research is classified as laboratory experimental engineering research. This study aims to determine the power savings of PLN that flows to the load after using the ATS system, work specifications, and system design specifications. In this study, a solar cell with a maximum capacity of 20 watts was used. The results of power savings after using the ATS system in sunny weather conditions for 10 hours of irradiation with an average solar intensity of 318,551 lux is 16,84%. The system performance specifications are small, portable, and easy to operate. The values of accuracy and precision in power saving are 96,13% and 95%.

Abstract

In preparation for the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, science learning in schools still has problems, namely; 75% of science teachers have not been able to design real problems in everyday life as scientific contexts, and only 50% of science teachers can integrate science material in an integrated manner on worksheets, and there are still very few science teachers who are ready to implement the curriculum. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of providing technical guidance (Bimtek) on developing scientific literacy-based worksheets on the competence of science teachers. The Bimtek activity consists of six stages: pretest, material debriefing, technical guidance (Bimtek), independent activities, evaluation monitoring, and posttest. From the Bimtek activities carried out for science teachers at MGMP Pesisir Selatan districts significantly increased teacher competence in developing scientific literacy-oriented worksheets. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it was found that the post-test average score was higher than the pretest average score. The science teacher pretest average score was 39.95, while the science teacher posttest average score was 62.10. The percentage increase in teacher competence is 23%.

Abstract

A visual aid is an object that can be used as a support for physical science activities. Teaching aids can be designed by the teacher using readily available materials. The competence of physics teachers in Pasaman Barat Regency has not been optimal in compiling PjBL-based Physics teaching aids student worksheets. So, the facts found in the field show that the professional competence and pedagogical competence of physics teachers in Pasaman Barat Regency in physics learning are not optimal. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the competency of Physics teachers in designing PjBL-based teaching aids. This type of research is quasi-experimental research. The treatment is in the form of assistance in making teaching aids based on PjBL. Bimtek activities in the form of practical assistance increase the competency of activity participants, which in this case are Physics teachers in Pasaman Barat Regency. The increase in the competence of physics teachers in Pasaman Barat Regency in making PjBL-based physics teaching aids was 24.17%. In addition, the mentoring activities provided are effective for increasing the mastery of MGMP Physics teachers in the Pasaman Barat Regency of the PjBL model material. This activity is also helpful for teachers designing teaching aids to support Physics learning as an merdeka curriculum implementation

Abstract

The Fukushima nuclear accident in 2011 became the basis for consideration of the use of gas as a coolant in nuclear reactors. This is because the convection rate of gas flow in the cooling channel can occur naturally due to differences in density and does not require the help of a pumps for the circulation of the coolant. This study aims to analyze how the flow pattern of an inert gas on a vertical-axial reference by natural convection in a thermal system. The focus of this research is to study the flow parameters of the coolant with a gas phase. This research is an experimental study. The analysis was carried out using a descriptive approach and computer simulation-assisted numerical analysis methods. The results showed that the distribution and variation of heat was radially dominant in the middle so that the coolant channel wall received less heat load. The magnitude of the pressure drop along the vertical-axial channel shows a homogeneous pattern and decreases radially from center to edge. These results indicate the use of inert gas as a coolant can be considered as an alternative coolant in heat systems that do not depend on pumps in operating conditions.

Abstract

Three main factors can accelerate the rate of land subsidence, including: natural conditions (geology), groundwater extraction and building mass. Excessive groundwater extraction is believed to be one of the main factors leading to land subsidence. This occurs because there are still many DKI Jakarta residents who have not switched to using PAM RT water (Household Drinking Water Management).  Data processing to obtain information in the form of the value of the range of subsidence of the DKI Jakarta area during 2021. The data taken in the form of Sentinel 1A data is then analyzed with the SNAP application using the Differential Interferometry Synthetic Aperture Radar (DInSAR) method. This research is useful to determine the rate of land subsidence in the DKI Jakarta area in 2021. Based on the results of data processing that has been done using the DInSAR method in the ESA SNAP application using Sentinel 1A imagery with data for the DKI Jakarta area in 2021, it can be concluded that for one year in 2021 the results of the decline in the area are -0.7 cm - -2.3 cm which is located near the Jakarta sea waters for one year in 2021.
