Abstract

Information and Communication of Technology (ICT) telah menjadi elemen kunci dalam mendukung produktivitas dan keberlanjutan sektor perikanan, khususnya di Kawasan Bandengan, Kabupaten Kendal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pemanfaatan ICT oleh nelayan modern skala kecil, termasuk aplikasi seperti WhatsApp, website BMKG, GPS, dan GPS Essential, serta mengkaji implementasi konsep blue economy dalam pengelolaan sumber daya laut secara berkelanjutan. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode survei, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan observasi untuk memahami pola adopsi teknologi, karakteristik sosial-ekonomi nelayan, dan dampaknya terhadap aktivitas perikanan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan ICT membantu nelayan meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, mempercepat akses informasi, dan mengoptimalkan hasil tangkapan. Teknologi seperti WhatsApp memungkinkan komunikasi yang lebih cepat antar-nelayan, website BMKG memberikan informasi cuaca yang akurat, sementara GPS dan aplikasi GPS Essential mempermudah penentuan lokasi strategis penangkapan ikan. Namun, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi beberapa tantangan, seperti keterbatasan pendidikan, rendahnya akses terhadap teknologi canggih, serta kendala sosial-ekonomi yang membatasi penerapan ICT secara luas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adopsi ICT tidak hanya mendukung pengelolaan sumber daya laut yang berkelanjutan tetapi juga memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat pesisir.

Abstract

Baja perkakas K110 KNL Extra (BOHLER) merupakan baja dengan kandungan karbon dan kromium tinggi yang membutuhkan ketahanan aus tinggi namun memiliki ketangguhan sedang. Dalam proses pemesinan dan pembentukan logam, baja ini rentan mengalami keausan dan cacat, sehingga diperlukan perlakuan panas (hardening) untuk meningkatkan kekerasannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh proses hardening pada suhu 1020°C dengan variasi media pendingin udara dan oli terhadap nilai kekerasan baja KNL Extra. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan pengujian kekerasan menggunakan metode Rockwell pada spesimen yang telah mengalami pendinginan udara selama 12, 24, dan 48 jam, serta pendinginan menggunakan oli. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai kekerasan rata-rata setelah pendinginan udara adalah 61,4 HRC, sedangkan pada pendinginan oli meningkat menjadi 62,4 HRC. Kenaikan kekerasan sebesar 1 HRC secara teknis cukup berarti dalam konteks aplikasi industri yang membutuhkan ketahanan aus tinggi. Dengan demikian, hardening pada suhu 1020°C efektif meningkatkan kekerasan baja KNL Extra, dan pendinginan dengan oli direkomendasikan untuk aplikasi yang memerlukan kekerasan maksimal.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of feed rate variations on the wear of High-Speed Steel (HSS) end mill cutters during the CNC milling of Aluminum 5052. The research addresses the challenge of optimizing tool life by exploring the complex interplay between feed rate, temperature, and wear. A quantitative approach was adopted, combining experimental tests with a Finite Element Method (FEM) simulation. The experiment used a fixed cutting depth of 1.5 mm and varied feed rates at 30, 40, and 50 mm/min. Data on temperature and tool wear were collected using an infrared thermometer and a digital microscope, respectively, while FEM simulations were performed using ANSYS to analyze thermal and mechanical stresses. The results showed that tool wear was not linearly proportional to temperature, with the highest wear occurring at 40 mm/min, despite lower temperatures. The FEM simulations successfully visualized critical zones of stress and deformation, confirming that tool performance is a function of both thermal and mechanical factors. In conclusion, optimizing feed rate is crucial for minimizing wear, and this integrated approach provides a robust framework for enhancing machining efficiency.

Abstract

The development of fossil fuel transportation continues to increase massively every time, and this condition is terrible news for the environment worldwide because the impact of gas emissions produced from burning fossil fuels is quite damaging to the environment. For this reason, based on the problems above, every country, including Indonesia, needs to contribute to maintaining and caring for environmental conditions from the threat of damage caused by pollution from burning fossil fuels. One of the efforts made by the Indonesian government to overcome this is to develop electric vehicles in collaboration with KEMRISTEK through the Indonesian Electric Car Championship (KMLI) event, which involves universities in Indonesia. One of the main parts of an electric car is the frame or chassis; for this reason, the author tries to design the best Frame for an electric car. Other leading factors such as the value of Stress, Deformation, and Factor of Safety, the method researchers use in this study is the Finite Element Method. The results showed that the frame did not fail and could meet the safety standards that the author had set.

Abstract

PT. TL Pasuruan is a company operating to produce bottled mineral water products. The type of product that is often produced is mineral water in 600 ml bottles using preform materials. The problem occurs when the material is replaced from type B to type A, the effect is that there are many defects caused by the temperature of the heater not matching the type of material used before. This research method is the Response Surface Methodology. The type of factorial design used is Box Behnken Design (BBD) with Minitab 21 software. The results obtained using Minitab software are 54 runs. The results of the study using the response surface method obtained the parameter settings for zone 1 = 164.7475℃, zone 2 = 137.8990℃, zone 3 = 74.4242℃, zone 4 = 76.8081℃, cycle time = 4.2485 (s) and blowing time = 1.250 (s). The product quality response variable is 0.6845 with a desirability of 1.000.

Abstract

In the case study at PT XYZ Pasuruan, there is a preform production in the packaging section using an injection molding machine with the brand SIPA XFORM 500 using PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) material. In February-April 2023, there were cases of short-shot defects in as many as 20,737 pcs of preform products. The method used in this study is RSM (Response surface methodology) by calculating using minitab21 software based on Box-Behnken experimental design. The independent variables used consisted of temperature (280 °C, 283 °C, and 285 °C), holding pressure (65 bar, 67 bar, 70 bar), and cooling time (1.8 s, 1.9 s, 2 s) so that 15 runs of experiments were obtained. From the optimization results, a temperature of 285 °C, a holding pressure of 70 bar, and a cooling time of 1.8 s. The resulting variable short-shot response of -0.0128 with a desirability value of 1.0 indicates that the program is increasingly able to produce the desired product perfectly.

Abstract

Background: Strengthening the value of religious moderation is a strategic agenda in Islamic boarding school education, especially among adolescent students who are vulnerable to the influence of extreme ideologies and the unfiltered flow of digital information. Purpose of the Study: This Qaryah Thayyibah-based community service program aims to revitalize the value of religious moderation among adolescent students at the Nurul Muttaqin Islamic Boarding School in Malang through the integration of psychological counseling and communication. Methods: The implementation method includes four stages: (1) assessing students' needs to identify challenges related to religious moderation; (2) psychologically based individual and group counseling focusing on emotional management, strengthening self-identity, and problem-solving skills; (3) focus group discussions (FGDs) emphasizing reflection on the values ​​of tolerance, balance, justice, and deliberation; and (4) effective communication simulations that foster empathy, openness, and respect for differences. Results: The results of the activity indicate a significant increase in students' understanding of the principles of religious moderation, healthy communication skills, and the ability to manage differences constructively. Counseling has proven effective in helping students reflect on their spiritual and social experiences, fostering a new awareness of the importance of living a moderate, peaceful, and inclusive life. These findings demonstrate the contribution of community service in building the character of adolescent students based on Islamic values ​​of rahmatan lil 'alamin (blessing for the universe) while strengthening a harmonious pesantren culture.
