Abstract

Improvements in education and curriculum must be carried out in line with the development of science. It is done to create a proper and correct education system. Frequent changes in educational curricula present some problems. The education curriculum in Indonesia has undergone twelve changes but is still experiencing problems that tend to be the same as those faced by previous curricula. The purpose of this study is to offer a model of Ralph Tyler's curriculum development and its implications for learning the Al-Qur’an Hadith at the elementary school level. The research method used in this study is qualitative methods. Researchers look for references in various mass media to clarify the information in this study. This type of research is a literature study, so it attaches great importance to information and clarity from the mass media in developing and identifying the case. Tyler's curriculum development model has several advantages and disadvantages. Elementary school is one level of education unit that can describe and identify how Tyler's curriculum can develop, especially in learning the Al-Qur’an and Hadith. Tyler's curriculum describes how a student gains experience during learning activities. Learning Al-Qur’an Hadith must have clear goals and provide useful learning experiences for students. The results of this study indicate that there are four forms of curriculum design for Al-Qur’an Hadith learning. First, it must determine the expected educational goals or outputs. Second, it determines the learning experience. Third, it organizes the learning experience. Fourth, it evaluates the effectiveness of the learning experience.

Abstract

Code-Switching and Code-Mixing often occur in conversations of twoor more languages. This triggered researchers to examine the conversationscontained in WhatsApp Groups. The purpose of this study was to determine thecode switching and code mixing that occurred between Indonesian, Javanese andNgapak Banyumasan languages. The research method used is a qualitativemethod. The author breaks down the conversation in WAG based on its smallestelements. The result of this research is the existence of code switching andinternal and external code mixing in the conversation. This means that the codeswitching and code mixing that occurred was between Indonesian to Javanese,ordinary Javanese to Ngapak, Indonesian to Ngapak, ordinary Javanese toNgapak or Indonesian to English.

Abstract

One element of culture is language and knowledge. This language is manifested in all aspects of life in spoken and written form. We use spoken language as a means of communication. We will find written language in literary works. Even though it is only in the form of sheets or books, literary works have contributed to the preservation of culture and important state moments. One of the literary works that played an important role during Indonesia's independence was the drama 'Audatul Firdaus' by Ali Ahmad Bakatsir. The researcher wants to reveal the drama 'Audatul Firdaus' by using Norman Fairclough's critical discourse analysis to get broad and deep results. In Norman Fairclough's critical discourse analysis, there are 3 elements, namely text, discourse practices and socio-cultural practices. So, Norman Fairclough's critical discourse analysis does not only dig up information from intrinsic elements, but also extrinsic ones. This research method is descriptive qualitative with a library research approach. As forthe results of this study, from the intrinsic elements, the setting of time, place and style of language used in writing the drama 'Audatul Firdaus' was found. From an extrinsic point of view, the drama 'Audatul Firdaus' was written to inform Arab and Egyptian citizens about the struggle of the heroes to gain the independence of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
