Abstract

Stretching is one form of therapy needed to lengthen muscles that increase shortening or increase elasticity and enlarge muscles. Maintain muscles at their natural length and can maintain their function properly. This type of research uses a pre-experimental research design with the design of a pretest-posttest group that is there is no comparison group (control), but the first observation (pretest) has been made that allows research that can improve the changes produced after the study. The sample is part of the population to be excluded or part of the characteristics possessed by the population. How to take a sample by taking the entire sample of participation into a sample (total sampling) of 20 people. The decisive variable in this study is the rate of return of the lower back in the elderly. This research uses paired t statistical test with α <0.05. The instruments in this study were interviews and observations conducted before and after the intervention. Statistical test results show the basic rate of return to the elderly before and given different interventions with a significant level of 0.017 (p <0.05). Based on the results of research that is supported so that further research can discuss further by using other confounding variables that can increase comfort and develop proper hip exercise stretching time.

Abstract

Hypertension in the elderly continues to increase. According to WHO statistical data in 2018 there were 1 billion people in the world suffering from hypertension. There are several precautions that can be done by the elderly to avoid hypertension, namely : balance nutrition, get rid of smoking, avoid stress, monitor blood pressure, and exercise regularly. Regular exercise can be done by means of physical exercises, namely by exercising the elderly and slow deep breathing. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an effect of slow deep breathing on blood pressure in elderly hypertensive receiving elderly exercise. This study used a quasi experimental design with one group pre-post test design. This research was conducted in Pustu Stungkit village, Wampu district, Langat regency, North Sumatra. The research sample was 26 respondents with the sampling technique using purposive sampling. Research instrument using blood pressure observation sheet, spigmomanometer, stop watch. Data processing techniques using the wilcoxon test. The results showed that the average systolic blood pressure before treatment was 158,00 mmhg and diastole 96,00mmhg. And systolic blood pressure after treatment was 148,50 mmhg and diastole 80 mmhg. With a significance value of 0,002 or p<0,05. The conclusion shows that there is an effect of slow deep breathing on the blood pressure of hypertensive elderly who receive exercise in the elderly in the village of stungkit, Binjai.

Abstract

Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI) also known as cardiac arrest, coronary occlusion, or simply coronary, is a life-threatening condition characterized by the formation of localized necrotic areas within the myocardium. Anxiety is the strongest predictor of disease. To reduce one's anxiety, it is necessary to have the ability to accept a process of change. Community service providing education and progressive relaxation techniques to the level of anxiety of myocardial infarction patients are patients who are treated at RSUD Dr. Pirngadi Medan. Anxiety is closely related to feelings of uncertainty and helplessness, this emotional state has no specific object. Anxiety is different from fear. From the analysis of five articles on independent nursing interventions to reduce anxiety in AMI patients, it is concluded that aromatherapy interventions are very effective in helping reduce anxiety in AMI patients. Abstract

The incidence of myocardial infarction refers to the process of damage to heart tissue due to inadequate oxygen supply so that coronary blood flow is reduced. Left chest pain is a complaint of patients with myocardial infarction that often appears and in some cases is serious enough to be injured as the worst pain often experienced by patients. Anxiety has been identified as an predictable emotional response due to myocardial infarction. Pirngadi Medan. This research is comparative in nature to mention the differences in the subjects to be studied. Data was collected by using a questionnaire consisting of two parts, namely identity and questions. After doing so, the results of the difference in anxiety levels based on characteristics were 1 respondent who experienced mild anxiety (10%), moderate anxiety was 3 respondents (30%) ), and anxiety as many as 6 respondents (60%). So from the results of statistical tests based on gender, the value of P = 0.005, age p value = 0.007, marital status obtained p = 0.006, and for duration of illness p value = 0.014. The difference in levels based on the characteristics of 10 respondents experiencing mild pain 1 respondent (10%), moderate pain 3 respondents (30%), severe pain 6 respondents (60%). obtained p = 0.021, marital status obtained p value = 0.008, length of suffering p value = 0.020. It was concluded that there were differences in anxiety and pain based on the characteristics of the patient's memory card at Dr Pirngadi Hospital Medan. Therefore, health workers need to improve and improve the management system for myocardial infarction patients in hospitals, so as to reduce the level and anxiety of these patients.
