Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan di Desa Kerinjing, Kecamatan Tanjung Raja, Ogan Ilir yang merupakan salah satu desa binaan dari Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Sriwijaya. Pelatihan pengelolaan kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat membantu masyarakat, khususnya ibu rumah tangga untuk memanfaatkan sampah rumah tangga menjadi sesuatu yang bermanfaat seperti membuat kompos dengan menggunakan metode komposting. Metode komposting merupakan teknik menghasilkan kompos yang digunakan sebagai pupuk maupun penguat struktur tanah. Komposting digunakan untuk mempercepat proses degradasi bahan organik dengan bantuan mikroba. Dengan adanya pembinaan tentang sampah rumah tangga menjadi pupuk kompos, maka akan mengurangi volume sampah rumah tangga yang sekarang ini semakin meningkat seiring bertambahnya jumlah penduduk.

Abstract

Rendahnya rasio kewirausahaan di Indonesia akibat beberapa masalah krusial seperti akses permodalan yang sulit, rendahnya pengetahuan mengenai wirausaha, kurangnya inovasi, serta stigma masyarakat yang cenderung berminat menjadi karyawan. Permasalahan serupa juga terjadi di lingkungan masyarakat Kabupaten Ogan Ilir, salah satunya di Desa Ulak Banding. Masyarakat Ulak Banding tidak memiliki akses pasar sendiri sehingga pengetahuan tentang perdagangan dan kewirausahaan masih terbilang rendah. Oleh karena itu, Tim Pengabdian Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Sriwijaya akan melakukan pelatihan pemberdayaan kewirausahaan bagi masyarakat non-produktif dengan memanfaatkan peluang usaha kuliner khas Sumatera Selatan menggunakan sumber daya alam perikanan sebagai salah satu pendamping dari pertanian yaitu pempek yang berprotein tinggi. Mayoritas mata pencarian utama masyarakat Desa Ulak Banding sebagai petani dan nelayan. Dengan demikian, peluang ini dapat memberikan kemudahan proses pembuatan, bahan mentah dan biaya yang rendah. Model kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat Desa Ulak Banding dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan keilmuan wirausaha yang memberikan nilai tambah bagi masyarakat serta penginisiasian kewirausahaan dengan ceramah, diskusi serta experimental learning diiringi pendampingan dengan pendekatan partisipatif di mana melibatkan peran masyarakat secara langsung dalam berbagai proses pelaksanaan kegiatan. Kegiatan ini mendapat respon positif dari masyarakat. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat membentuk usaha rumah tangga agar kegiatan ekonomi di Desa Ulak Banding menjadi lebih aktif. Kata kunci: pemberdayaan masyarakat, kewirausahaan, usaha kuliner, pertumbuhan ekonomi ABSTRACT The low ratio of entrepreneurship in Indonesia is due to several crucial problems such as difficult access to capital, low knowledge about entrepreneurship, lack of innovation, and the stigma of people who tend to be interested in becoming employees. Similar problems are also rife in the community of Ogan Ilir Regency, one of which is in Ulak Banding Village. The Ulak Banding community whose main livelihood is as farmers, do not have their own market access so that their knowledge about trade and entrepreneurship is still relatively low. The local government also did not make efforts to establish people's businesses or household businesses. Therefore, we will conduct entrepreneurship empowerment training for non-productive communities by taking advantage of culinary business opportunities typical of South Sumatra using fishery natural resources as one of the companions of agriculture, namely Pempek lenjer and high protein egg pempek. Because of the ease of the manufacturing process, raw materials and low costs. The model of community empowerment activities in Ulak Banding Village in this activity is entrepreneurship scientific training that provides added value to the community as well as initiating entrepreneurship with lectures, discussions and experiential learning accompanied by assistance with a participatory approach which involves the role of the community directly in various process implementation activities. This activity received a positive response from the community. It is hoped that this activity can form a household business so that economic activities in Ulak Banding Village become more active. Abstract

This study analyses a comparison of the role monetary policy transmission mechanism between the interest rate channel and the exchange rate channel in Indonesia for the 2011-2020 period. The type of data is quantitative with secondary data sources, namely the Central Bureau of Statistics and Bank Indonesia. The analytical method used is the Error Correction Model (ECM). The results show that the exchange rate channel is more effective than the interest rate channel because all variables in the exchange rate channel, both in the short and long term, have a significant effect. Exchange rate and inflation variables can give a positive response to economic growth, while net exports and real interest rates give a negative response. The contribution made by the exchange rate channel is 99 percent in the short term and 72.83 percent in the long term. Meanwhile, on the interest rate channel both in the short and long term, the variable deposit rates, real interest rates, inflation, and lending rates have a significant effect on giving a negative response to economic growth. However, loan interest rates are not significant in the short term. Meanwhile, loan interest rates provide a positive response in the long term. The contribution made by the interest rate channel is 65.07 percent in the short term and 86.38 percent in the long term.
