Abstract

Hospitals as one of the services in the marketing world face a very tight competition dynamics, this requires the hospital management to improve itself and make efficiency, so the hospital is required to provide optimum quality for the performance given to the patient because the patient will provide subjective assessment or forming a direct perception of the image of the company or service provider concerned. Therefore, the study aims to determine the effect of service quality on the image of Dental and mouth Hospital Baiturrahmah. This study used analytic design with cross sectional approach. The sample was 96 respondents, which were chosen using consecutive sampling technique that was adjusted with inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results showed that the characteristics of respondents were aged between 21-40 years old (42.7%) with educational background of majority respondents with high school education (62.5%). The work of respondents is housewife (IRT) amount (41,7%). Of five service quality dimensions consisted of tangibility, reliablity, responsiveness assurance, and empathy, only responsiveness which has significant effect on RSGM image t-count value 3,915. Based on the r-square value of service quality is only capable of affecting image of 51%, while 49% more image is influenced by other variables. It can be concluded that there is influence responsiveness to RSGM Baiturrahmah image, but not with tangibility, reliablity, assurance, empaty.

Abstract

Era SDGs (sustainable development goals) is a continuation MDGs (MillenniumDevelopment Goals) have a common goal that is universal to maintain the balance of the three dimensions of sustainable development, one of its objectives is to ensure the availability of clean water and sustainable sanitation for everyone. The importance of the availability of clean water for people's lives can have an important influence on public health, so that the water used for daily needs must meet quality standards for environmental health quality and water health requirements. Based on information from Wali Nagari Palupuah, said that the source of water used by residents for their daily needs is physically colored, there are deposits in water reservoirs, and have never been tested for safety. This study aims to determine the description of the availability of clean water in Jorong Palupuah Nagari Pasia Laweh, Agam. This research is an observational survey research with research design cross sectional. The population in this study were all households in Jorong Palupuah Nagari Pasia Laweh Agam, West Sumatra. The sample of 74 KK was determined by proportionate stratified random sampling technique and data analysis was carried out by univariate. The results showed that the characteristics of respondents in jorong Palupuah Nagari Pasia Laweh Agam, West Sumatra the majority aged 25-45 years with the last level of education was graduated from high school. Based on the survey results, the average number of family members in Jorong Palupuah numbered 3 people (32.4%), and the majority of respondents worked as IRT with an average family income level of Rp. 1,500,000. There are five main sources of raw water that are used as a source of clean water by the jorong community and most of the water sources used come from springs (71.8%). In addition, there are still some people who complain that water supply is not smooth (35.1%). And there are still 41.9% who say it is not easy to get clean water. The quality of clean water supplied in Jorong Palupuah is included in the good category. However, most people do not use PDAM and the water sources used are not very supportive for consumption

Abstract

Persaingan yang semakin ketat dalam dunia pemasaran menuntut rumah sakit harus mampu menawarkan pelayanan yang berkualitas dan inovasi yang beragam. Kualitas pelayanan sebuah rumah sakit ditentukan oleh seberapa banyak persepsi positif pelanggan kepada rumah sakit, jika image rumah sakit baik dimata pelanggan, maka terciptalah sebuah citra yang positif, namun sebaliknya jika pelanggan kurang puas dengan pelayanan yang diberikan dapat membuat penurunan minat ulang pasien untuk kembali ke rumah sakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh brand image terhadap minat ulang pasien rawat inap dengan word of mouth (WOM) sebagai variabel intervening (studi kasus Rumah Sakit Swasta di Kota Padang). Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian cross sectional dengan populasi pasien rawat inap RSI Ibnu Sina Padang dan RS Hermina Padang. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 90 orang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisa univariat dan bivariat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui nilai T-statistik 3,693 artinya ada pengaruh brand image terhadap minat ulang pasien rawat inap di Rumah Sakit Swasta Kota Padang dan diketahui bahwa brand image berpengaruh langsung terhadap WOM (T-statistik=7,015). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel WOM bukan merupakan variabel intervening antara pengaruh brand image dengan minat ulang pasien rawat inap di Rumah Sakit Swasta Kota Padang.

Abstract

The rapid growth of hospitals will lead to competition between hospitals.  Hospital will compete to increase their competitiveness to gain and maintain its market. Based on the results of an initial survey of 6 out of 10 ipatents of the islamic hospital  Ibnu Sina Payakumbuh, understand what is being debated at the hospital today is the outcome quality, whice include service quality problem where the nurse did not do check ups sistematically and effectivelly, and doctor who did not come to visit on time. And there are 5 out of 10 patients at Ibnu Sina Hospital Payakumbuh who said that about peer to peer quality needed is communication between patients in the room, the information obtained is less effective, and the benefits that can be lacking. This research is a quantitative study with cross sectional design using primary data and secondary data. The sample collection technique used is the proportional statified random sampling technique. The results showed no influence on outcame quality on patient satisfaction. And there is a significant relation between peer to peer quality and patient satisfaction. The conclusion of this study is the outcome quality has no influence on patient satisfaction. Peer to peer quality affects patient satisfaction. The suggestion from this study is that the hospital must pay attention to the positive correlation of outcome quality and it is recommended that the hospital maintain peer to peer quality for patients, and further researchers are expected to increase the number of research samples and more detailed questionnaire questions.
