Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to describe the relationship between the vice Principal’s managerial leadership and school innovation in State Elementary School in North Luwuk district. The population of this study is all of the teachers of State Elementary School in North Luwuk, Banggai Regency. This study was used random sampling technique. The total numbers of the sample are 80 teachers. This study was quantitative approach with used correlational design. While the technique of analyzing data used regression technique (regression analysis). Based on the normality tested of the data, it can be described that the a value = 67.975 and b = 0,378 with input the a value and b value into the similar regression, it is reached the simple similar regression where Y = 67.957+ 0,378 X. It means that, the more good of the vice principal’s managerial leadership will probably increase the school innovation. While the vice principal’s managerial leadership with school innovation has positive and significant relationship as big as 67.95%. The suggestion of this study is to increase the school innovation, and the vice principal’s is suggested to think and formulate the purpose and the act of the program, compile and coordinate the human resources and the material resources of the school. Because, the successful of school very depends on the ability to arrange and engage any sources to reach the purpose. The vice principal’s has ability to lead and affect all of the human resources to accomplish the essential of any jobs, and control the management of the school.Key word: Managereial, and Innovation.

Abstract

Enhancing the quality of learning in extracurricular activities, particularly in football, is essential for developing students’ technical skills and character at the senior high school level. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the cooperative learning method in improving students’ technical football skills in the extracurricular program at SMA Negeri 1 Luwuk. A mixed-method approach was employed, combining quantitative and qualitative designs. Data were collected through observations, skill tests (pre-test and post-test), and interviews with students and coaches. The sample consisted of 30 students selected purposively. The results showed that the implementation of cooperative learning significantly improved students’ passing, dribbling, and shooting abilities. Qualitatively, students also demonstrated increased motivation, collaboration, and active participation during the learning process. These findings reinforce the theory that cooperative learning is effective in developing both motor and social skills, particularly in team sports. This study contributes practical insights for designing extracurricular training programs and enriches theoretical perspectives on active learning in physical education. The conclusion emphasizes that cooperative learning is an effective strategy for improving students’ football skills. Future research is recommended to explore its application in other sports contexts and over longer training durations

Abstract

Artikel pengabdian ini menggambarkan praktik pendampingan komunitas sekolah dalam konteks lintas negara sebagai ruang pembelajaran bahasa sekaligus interaksi budaya, khususnya pada lingkungan sekolah dasar Muslim di Thailand yang memiliki latar bahasa dan kebiasaan sosial berbeda dengan mahasiswa Indonesia. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah untuk mengenalkan Bahasa Indonesia kepada siswa sekolah dasar di Anuban Muslim Krabi School melalui pendekatan komunikasi antarbudaya (intercultural communication) dengan memanfaatkan media lagu anak-anak Indonesia. Pendekatan intercultural communication diterapkan sebagai strategi untuk menjembatani perbedaan bahasa, nilai, dan kebiasaan antara mahasiswa KKN dan siswa Thailand. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui observasi awal, perkenalan berbasis komunikasi nonverbal dan adaptasi budaya, pembelajaran interaktif, serta kompetisi sederhana untuk meningkatkan partisipasi dan minat belajar siswa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa siswa Anuban Muslim Krabi School menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi dalam mengikuti pembelajaran, mampu menirukan kosakata Bahasa Indonesia melalui lagu, serta memahami perintah sederhana yang diberikan. Dengan demikian, pendekatan pendampingan berbasis intercultural communication berpotensi diterapkan kembali sebagai kerangka operasional kegiatan pengabdian internasional pada pendidikan dasar, khususnya di sekolah multikultural, karena mampu mengintegrasikan tujuan pembelajaran bahasa, penguatan karakter toleransi, dan pengembangan kompetensi global peserta didik secara simultan.
