Abstract

All activities that are beneficial with the use of natural resources and the impact on the environment. Likewise with sustainable development that is intensively carried out without paying attention to the surrounding environment. Therefore, this study aims to look at PT Vale's mining activities from the perspective of Environmental Governance. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and literature study. The results of this study are seen from four indicators, namely effective and robust as well as fair and responsive. Management effectiveness is assessed based on the joint commitment made by PT Vale and the local government in realizing sustainable mining practices. The principle of fairness and responsiveness can be realized in efforts to improve the socio-economic outcomes of people living in mining areas where the existence of PT Vale facilitates the community by opening up job opportunities, providing programs for coastal communities.

Abstract

This article discusses about urban governance of Smart City Program in the Makassar City, which is the mainstay program of the Makassar City Government and identifies factors that are driving and inhibiting the realization of Good Urban Governance based on E-Government in Smart City Program. This type of research was qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collecting was used instrument in the form of observation and documentation then developed from the interviews of informants. The fact in the field indicated that E-Government-based urban governance on Smart City program in the Makassar is seen from the indicators of urban management, namely planning, organizing, implementing and controlling according to the development goals in the Makassar Government's vision and mission.

Abstract

The objective in this study were to study the state of the art of Non-government-based cryptocurrency public policy in Thailand, to study the state of the art of Non-government-based cryptocurrency public policy in Argentina, to compare non-government-based cryptocurrency public policy between Thailand and Argentina, and to discuss implications for both Thailand and Argentina. Documentary research was employed in this study. The findings showed that Thailand and Argentina used a set of policy instruments and blockchain as a financial innovation in order to promote their political equilibriums. The comparison of non-government-based cryptocurrency public policy between Thailand and Argentina was conducted in four issues – scope, policy instrument, distribution, and restraints and innovation. In addition, both countries used both active and passive measures in order to maintain the stability of their political systems.
