Abstract

Al The success of a child's education will be achieved if the child has high motivation. When motivation arises in a child, will increase the spirit of curiosity about something. Therefore, there are many ways to motivate students to have a high enthusiasm in learning, namely by applying gifts in the learning process. This study aims to determine how the implementation of gift giving to students who are active in classroom learning and students who excel, and also to determine the effect of gift giving on student motivation in Islamic religious education subjects. This type of research is quantitative research. The subjects of this study were 53 students. The research method used is a mixed method, namely the interview method the author will know how the implementation of gift giving, and the questionnaire method is used to find out how the influence of gift giving on student motivation. To analyze the data, the authors use the SPSS 16 application. The results of this study can be concluded that giving prizes to students who are active while learning, the teacher gives it when learning too, so the teacher has prepared it before entering class. As for prizes for students who excel, prizes are given when distributing report cards after an exam. Meanwhile, the results of data processing by the author by giving gifts to students have an influence on student motivation. The influence of gift giving is 64.1%, while 35.9% of students' learning motivation is influenced by other factors not mentioned and revealed in this study.Keywords: Giving Gifts, Learning Motivation

Abstract

In Indonesia, Islamic education There are two classified systems: the school system and the secondary system. In addition to religious education. In fact, Islamic boarding schools are traditional Islamic educational institutions in the form of mosques, holy places. (Khoiriyah, Susanto, and Abidin 2018). The community should consider madrasas from the perspective of their educational role, namely equipping students with competencies that the difference in religious atmosphere between madrasas and state schools is a factor that should make the community have a good perception of madrasas (Kanifah, Susanto, and Saputra 2020). preserving the Qur'an is by memorizing it. Therefore, MTs MBS Barat Magetan school must include a program to memorize and learn the Qur'an. The Quran Camp activity carried out at MTs MBS Barat Magetan is a strategy to inspire students to continue to memorize the Qur'an and pray in the hope of successfully achieving the goal of memorizing it. In this study, there are three objectives: (1) to find out how the Quran Camp is implemented in MBS MBS Barat Magetan, (2) to examine how to improve Quran memorization through Quran Camp activities in MBS MBS Barat Magetan, and (3) to assess the impact of Study Camp activities on strengthening Quran memorization. To find out the Quran camp activities that aim to improve Quran memorization in MTs MBS Barat Magetan. The researchers used a Qualitative research method so that this Collection uses interviews, observations, textual analysis as data collection methods. The findings of this study indicate that students' memorization reinforcement is very good.
