Abstract

Adolescent period is considered as a crucial period of life. There are a rapid physical growth spurt and mental development include the sexual organ maturity in this period. Therefore, healthy behaviors include cleanness of reproductive organ is important thing to know. The study aimed to find out the influence of health education on preserving external genital cleannes. fhis was a quasi experiment study with purposive sampling. There were two groups of female teenagers consist of 70 respondents totally. The study results revealed that health education was significantly influence respondents knowledge, attitude and behavior (p=0,000). ln the intervention group there were 60% respondents who had good level of knowledge; having positive attitude (97,1 %) and having good behavior 88,51%. In the control group, there were no changing of knowledge, attitude and behavior on the preserving external genital cleannes.
