Abstract

Background: The frequency of using the antibiotics and antifungals as a treatment of leucorrhea may cause the bacterial and fungal resistance. Therefore, a treatment is not always optimal and sometimes leads the infection to be worsen. The herbal medicine is needed as an alternative treatment. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using various herbal medicine in the management of leucorrhea. Methodology: The literature review was conducted in several electronic databases i.e., Google Scholar, Science Direct, and PubMed. The protocol for this study was PRISMA. The keywords such as "herbal medicine" and "leucorrhea" or "vaginal infection" were used to select the literatures. This study only selected the studies conducted during 2000 to 2019, presented in English and used clinical trial research design. Results: This study obtained 10 of 5184 total publications from electronic databases. The publication about herbal medicine for leucorrhea, both of herbal medicine and placebo, herbal medicine compared to conventional medicine and herbal medicine combined with conventional medicine showed that herbal medicine could reduce the symptoms and complaints of leucorrhea which had the ability to be an antimicrobial agent. In contrast, 2 studies revealed the side effects of herbal medicine, i.e., irritation, vomiting, and dry vagina. Conclusion: Herbal medicine was effective as a treatment of leucorrhea and had the prospect to develop as a complementary therapy for treating the leucorrhea.

Abstract

Ca Cervix at the fourth rank from all of oncology in women in the word after ca mamae, colorectum and lungs. Early detection use IVA method. Data in 2021, from 390 women in fertile age who have early detection amounted 60 women (15%). This research determine to relationship knowledge with ca cervic early detection with IVA method in coastal and islands area at 2023. This research used analysis description with cross sectional study. 78 women in fertile age as respondent of this research. Instrument of this research used questionnaire. Data processing used SPSS with chi square test. Result of chi square got relationship knowledge with early detection cancer cerviks equal 0,000 p<0,05). Conclution of this research showed there was relattionsgip between knowledge to ca cervix early detection with IVA method in coastal and islands area at 2023.

Abstract

Anemia in pregnancy is anemia due to iron deficiensy, iron deficiency anemia in pregnant women is a health problem experienced by women all over the world, especially in developing countries. The Wold Health Organitation (WHO) reports that pregnant women who experience iron deficency are around 35-75% and it increases with increasing gestational age. Anemia is the most common health disorder in pregnancy according to WHO, the diagnosis of anemia in pregnosis is confirmed when the hemoglobin (Hb) level is < 11g/dL (7.45 mmol/L) and hematoric < 0.33. The prevalence of anemia in pregnant women worldwide is 41.8%. This study aims to describe the knowledge and characteristics of pregnant women obout anemia in the working area of the Namrole Nursing Health Center in 2020. This research is a descriptive research design using a cross sectional approach. The sampel is 80 respondents. The research instrumet used a questionnaire. The results of the research, the level of knowledge about anemia to be good in the Namrole Care Health Center in 2020.

Abstract

Immunization is one of intervention to give immune for the baby/child with the procedure input vaccine into the body so the body could make antibody against to disease spesificly. Immunization services for baby/child at Manipa Islands 2021 have not yet reached Universal Child Immunization. It was mean more than 90% had achieved. They are BCG (50%), DPT (40%), Hepatitis B (20%), Polio (60%) and Campak (10%). The aim of this research to know between knowledge with mother’s effort for giving immunization in children at Manipa Islands 2021. This research is analysis description with cross sectional study. All of mothers who have child 12-23 month at Manipa Islands 2021, as respondent have taken by total sampling (30 respondent) and used chi-square with significant level α=0,055. Result of research has showed that there was relationship between knowledge with mother’s effort for giving immunization. Knowledge p=0,010,. For respondent to more interesting in giving immunization for children base on their ages to protection from some disease.
