Abstract

The problem studied in this study is the use of a double loop learning method of problem solving in class X MA NW Lendang Nangka. This study aims to develop students' abilities, such as motivation, interest, intelligence and how to learn. The research method used is qualitative research with primary data sources and secondary data. Data collection techniques in this study were conducted by means of observation methods, interview methods, and documentation methods. Data analysis is done using inductive data analysis, which is a way of thinking that starts from things that are general in nature or draw conclusions in general. Data analysis is done logically and systematically, the validity or validation of the data is done by means of observation persistence, extension of participation and adequacy of references. The results showed that the application of the problem solving double loop method to the development of students' abilities in the fiqh subject class X MA NW of Langka Nangka was increasing even though not so rapidly. Judging from his intellectual abilities, using this method students are more independent in learning. Students are also more motivated in learning, their learning interest increases. Teachers find a variety of obstacles, especially lack of interest in learning and still lack of skill in classroom management. Efforts to overcome this are by increasing self-skills in the application of new learning methods, especially subject teachers, and more introducing new methods to students so that their abilities can develop more rapidly.
