The COVID-19 pandemic has greatly impacted the world of education and provided opportunities for educational losses for children in Karangasem Village. Community Service Lectures with an asset-based development approach are carried out to develop the potential for high awareness of the community in the field of education. The purpose of the study was to develop the educational potential of the people of Karangasem-Plumbon Village to prevent the loss of education. The research uses an asset-based Community-driven development approach. The results showed that the model for developing the potential for education to prevent lost-in education was to strengthen the institution to become Oemah Sinau as an independent non-formal educational institution to the needs and potential of the community; the form of empowerment of the Oemah Sinau Institution is carried out by implementing academic and life skills programs; to realize the institution is done by empowering the partnership of the potential of the local community. It is concluded that the empowerment of educational potential by building Oemah Sinau can prevent losses in education. It is recommended that the village government establish an Oemah Sinau Institution in each RW. Abstrak Pandemi COVID-19 sangat berdampak kepada dunia Pendidikan dan memberikan peluang terjadinya lose in education bagi anak-anak di Desa Karangasem. Kuliah Pengabdian Masyarakat dengan pendekatan Asset based community driven-development dilakukan guna mengembangkan potensi kepedulian yang tinggi dari masyarakat di bidang pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengembangkan potensi Pendidikan masyarakat Desa Karangasem-Plumbon untuk mencegah terjadinya lose in education. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Asset based community driven-development. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pengembangan potensi Pendidikan untuk mencegah terjadinya lose in education ialah dengan melakukan penguatan kelembagaan menjadi Oemah Sinau sebagai Lembaga Pendidikan nonformal mandiri sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan potensi yang dimiliki masyarakat; Bentuk pemberdayaan Lembaga Oemah Suinau dilakukan dengan melaksanakan program akademis dan life skills; Guna menjamin keberlanjutan Lembaga dilakukan dengan memberdayakan partnership dari potensi masyarakat setempat. Disimpulkan bahwa pemberdayaan potensi Pendidikan dengan membangun Oemah Sinau dapat mencegah terjadinya lose in education. Direkomendasikan agar Pemerintah Desa agar membentuk Lembaga Oemah Sinau di setiap RW.
