Abstract

This study aims to (1) find out the primary and non-base sectors in Banjarmasin City and (2) find out the right policy strategy for developing potential sectors in Banjarmasin City. This study uses analytical tools to determine the basis and non-base sectors through the calculation of Location Quotient and Shift Share, then for development strategies through descriptive analysis, with the uses of secondary data in the form of gross regional domestic product according to employment at constant prices.The results showed seven basic sectors, namely the electricity and gas procurement sector; Construction; Financial and insurance services; Real estate; Company services; Educational services; Health services, and social activities. And for the sector being developed is the electricity and gas procurement sector as the leading sector, as well as the water supply, waste management, waste, and recycling sectors as potential sectors.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that affect crude palm oil exports in South Kalimantan province, knowing the influence of production amount, dollar exchange rate, and CPO price on CPO exports in South Kalimantan Province. In increasing CPO production for the future, Indonesia is still superior because of the availability of sizeable tropical land for planting oil palm trees. Indonesia's CPO production, especially in South Kalimantan, continues to increase. It can be identified because of the influence of the amount of output, dollar exchange rate, and CPO price on South Kalimantan CPO exports?This research is research that uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques. Linear regression is one of the statistical tools used to describe the relationship between variables; the dependent and independent variables are used. The results showed that the amount of production (X1)) and the exchange rate of the Dollar (X3) together did not significantly influence the CPO Export of South Kalimantan (Y).

Abstract

This research was conducted for (1) analyzing the growth of the economic sector and the competitiveness  of economic sectors in the kotabaru disctrict.; (2) determine the excellent sector in the Kotabaru district to be prioritized in regional development.Variable in this research is PDRB economic sector from 2011 to 2018. Data is processed by shift share analysis. The results if this research mentioned that the growth of economic in the Kotabaru disctrict in end of 2018 which is analyzed by shift share analysis generated conclusions that mine and excavation sector, transportation and warehousing sector, provision of accommodation and  food sector, information and communication sector, company services sector, education services sector, health services and social activities sector and other services sector have hih competitiveness and spesialitazion. While the sectors that indicated have the best speed of growth is processing industry sector and other services sector

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine simultaneously the influence of GDP, exchange rates, and inflation and which factors were the most dominant in influencing the import of telecommunications products in Indonesia. The data used in this study are secondary time-series data for 18 years, starting from 2002 to 2019. Data were obtained from the Central Statistics Agency, Bank Indonesia, and the World Bank. The data analysis tool uses OLS (Ordinary Least Square) and is estimated using Eviews 9 software.The results showed that the variable GDP had a significant effect on imports of telecommunications products in Indonesia. The exchange rate and inflation variables do not significantly influence the import of telecommunications products. The coefficient of determination is 0.811884, which means that the independent variable GDP, exchange rate, and inflation affect 81.184% of the dependent variable of importing Indonesian telecommunications products.

Abstract

This study aims to determine rubber farmers' income and purchasing power for basic needs during the COVID-19 pandemic in Gunung Riut Village, Balangan Regency. This research is a type of descriptive research with a quantitative approach, which was carried out in January-March 2022.The research method used is analyzing rubber farmers' purchasing power against basic needs with the formula andthen analyzing income with the formulawith the number of respondents, as many as 65 rubber farmers in Gunung Riut Village, Balangan Regency.The results of this study prove that the total income of rubber farmers during the COVID-19 pandemic is Rp. 116.570.000 with an average income of Rp. 1.793.384. The purchasing power of rubber farmers for basic needs during the COVID-19 pandemic has not decreased too much because the income of each rubber depends on the price of rubber offered by collectors, unless the rubber factory is difficult to move due to the COVID-19 pandemic, that is what will make the income of rubber farmers decrease
