Abstract

ABSTRACT Crazy person on the street is a very obtrusive figure who becomes the center of people's attention because s/he has different attitudes and behavior such as how to dress, how to walk, and so on from normal people. This condition is the reason why the figure of crazy person on the street is very exotic to be perpetuated. One of ways to perpetuate this phenomenon is by recording all activities of crazy person on the street through photography lens. Technique used in this perpetuation was by documenting incidental or undirected phenomena. This technique would produce very natural and expressive photos. Crazy person on the street lives casualy and doesn't really care with  his/her environment. This indifference required author's patience particularly while recording all activities of this crazy person by following this crazy person's footsteps on the street. Photos resulted showed that there are various expressions of crazy person on the street. All artworks would be alive when each artwork with the same phenomenon has its own message. Keywords:  ABSTRAK Orang gila di jalanan merupakan sosok yang sangat menonjol dan menjadi pusat perhatian masyarakat, karena memiliki perbedaan sikap, cara berpakaian, cara berjalan dan sebagainya dengan manusia normal. Kondisi ini menjadikan sosok orang gila di jalanan sangat eksotis untuk diabadikan. Saah satu cara mengabadikan fenomena ini adalah dengan merekam semua aktifitas orang gila di jalanan lewat lensa fotografi. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengabadian ini adalah mendokumentasikan fenomena yang bersifat indidental atau tidak disutradarai atau diarahkan. Teknik ini akan meng-hasilkan foto yang sangat natural dan ekspresif. Orang gila di jalanan hidup dengan santai dan tidak begitu peduli dengan lingkungannnya. Sikap acuh tak acuh ini membuat pengkarya harus dengan sabar merekam seluruh aktifitas dengan mengikuti langkah kaki orang gila di jalanan. Foto-foto yang dihasilkan memperlihatkan ekspresi orang gila di jalanan yang sangat beragam. Seluruh karya akan menjadi hidup dengan pesan yang masing-masingnya berdiri sendiri dengan fenomena yang sama.

Abstract

The artwork discussed in this text is a photographic work that aims to express the artist's anxiety towards domestic violence. The use of symbols in the photographs helps to convey the message and raise awareness about this issue. The creation of the work involves the use of subjects, objects, photographic techniques, and digital editing to symbolize domestic violence. The artist incorporates their personal views and interpretations, drawing from their experiences, emotions, and observations related to domestic violence. The purpose of this artwork is to increase public awareness about domestic violence and inspire relevant parties to address the problem more effectively. Overall, the artist utilizes expression photography as a medium to disclose their emotions and to shed light on the issue of domestic violence.
