Abstract

Comfort is something that humans need without exception when in a Green Open Space (RTH). Thermal comfort is a thermal condition felt by humans that is influenced by the environment. The existence of green space such as the City Forest of Malabar needs to be measured about it which can define its feasibility. (1) To examine the effect of thermal comfort in the Malabar forest on the community. (2) Analyzing vegetation in the Malabar city forest related to comfort. The results obtained in this study are the Temperature humidity index (THI) of respondents in the Malabar city forest known to average values of 22.42. It can be categorized that the Malabar city forest has a comfortable condition because in the index range 21 to 24. The analysis of the vegetation analysis in the Malabar city forest is concluded for the predominant vegetation sapling level, ie the pole glodokan plant with an important value index of 6.69. Whereas the pole level that dominates is mahogany with an important value index of 6.66. As for the tree level, the dominant vegetation types are plants with an important value index of 127.91

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan dan hasil lima varietas buah melon pada tiga ketinggian tempat yang berbeda, yaitu dataran tinggi, medium dan dataran rendah. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan pada Juni hingga Desember 2011 di PT. BISI International Tbk. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah Rancangan Petak Terbagi (RPT) dengan faktor utama ialah ketinggian tempat dan faktor anak petak ialah varietas. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya interaksi antara ketinggian tempat dan varietas yang terjadi pada tinggi tanaman, jumlah, luas daun, jumlah bunga, tebal daging buah, diameter buah, umur muncul bunga dan umur panen. Pada dataran rendah varietas Apollo dapat tumbuh secara optimal. Pada dataran menengah semua varietas dapat tumbuh secara optimal. Pada dataran tinggi varietas Melindo 10 dan Apollo dapat tumbuh secara optimal. Kata kunci : Cucumis melo, ketinggian tempat, varietas

Abstract

Climate change is one of the most important problems today because it affects the agricultural sector which results in decreased production of food crops, both vegetables and fruits. Citrus is one of the leading horticultural commodities and has a demand that tends to increase in 2015 - 2017, namely 22,772 tons, 23,827 tons and 26,313 tons per year. The aim of this research is to find out the effect of climate change on the productivity of citrus Batu 55 and to get the climatic elements that most influence the productivity of citrus Batu 55. The research was conducted from February 2020 to May 2020 in Batu City. Climate change in Batu city affects the peroduktivitas of Tangerine Stone 55 with a correlation value of 0.011. The most influential climate element to the productivity of  Batu 55 Citrus is rainfall with multiple linear regression equations as follows: : Y = -7,212 + 0.741 X1 + 0.686 X2 + 0.119 X3. Based on the equation, rainfall variables have a regression coefficient value of 0.741, a variable regression coefficient of wind speed of 0.686 and a temperature variable regression coefficient value of 0.119.
