Abstract

Many media companies in Indonesia intentionally or unintentionally produced program that do not educate people, especially the children by ignoring moral value without adhering to ethics of media broadcasting which is regulated by Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI), so they neglected the regulations.  They only broadcasted top rated entertainment program for financial profit without considering the effects towards the society.  Media no longer educate the people, but trapped in the logic of market. The purpose of the research is to find out media broadcasting ethics in establishing children’s moral in ‘Temporary Suspension of Entertainment Program Dahsyat by Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI)’ which was analyzed by Bandura’s Social Learning Theory and Agenda Setting Communication Theory by Mc Combs and Shaw. The advantage of the research is to find out the application of the broadcasting ethics in a media. Research method used in this research eas qualitative methods.  The final result of the case analysis which was elaborated by using those theories are: 1) The case which was analyzed by Bandura learning theory according to Broadcasting Code of Conduct (P3) and Broadcast Program Standards regulated by Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI), entertainment program broadcasted by RCTI “Dahsyat”  breaks the rules because the program did not educate and establish moral of the children, therefore Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI) suspended the program for three days as punishment.  2.) The case analyzed by Agenda Setting Communication Theory by Mc Combs and Shaw (1972), entertainment program broadcasted by RCTI “Dahsyat” was only for entertainment purpose, therefore it was considered unimportant. However, it became important from the audience point of view because media considered it important as well as the theories.

Abstract

The research investigates the diverse potential attractions of Mount Telomoyo, a natural tourist destination in Central Java, Indonesia. With a growing number of visitors each year, this study aims to analyze the key components that contribute to its appeal. Utilizing qualitative methods, including interviews, observations, and documentation, the research identifies four main components of attraction: natural beauty, cultural significance, accessibility, and amenities. The natural allure of Mount Telomoyo is heightened by its stunning landscapes, surrounded by prominent mountains and offering panoramic views of Rawa Pening and nearby cities. Culturally, the site hosts annual traditional events such as the Saparan ceremony, reflecting the local community's cultural heritage. Accessibility is also a significant factor, with easy routes to the peak, facilitated by available transportation services. Moreover, the amenities provided, including accommodations, dining options, and organized tours, enhance the overall visitor experience. The study concludes that Mount Telomoyo’s tourism potential is distinguished by its combination of natural, cultural, and man-made attractions, supported by accessible infrastructure and comprehensive services. These findings suggest that continuous development and management are essential to sustaining and increasing tourist interest in the region.

Abstract

The impact of curriculum changes requires teachers to think creatively and innovatively in delivering learning materials. The new curriculum, The Independent Curriculum, encourages the packaging of learning by paying attention to student learning styles, aiming that all learners are facilitated in their learning. Students in the sixth grade of PTQ Annida Salatiga Elementary School still have difficulties understanding the concept of integer operations, impacting learning outcomes that are still much below the standard value or KKM that has been determined. For this reason, teachers innovate learning using JUCO (Jump Counting). The purpose of using this media is to facilitate and improve students' learning outcomes with more fun and meaningful learning. The method used in this study is descriptive quantitative, with research instruments used as pre-test and post-test, where the results will be analyzed. The study was conducted on 21 Elementary School students in Grade IV. The result of using JUCO (Jump Counting) is an increase in learning outcomes by 18.98%. JUCO makes it easier for teachers to convey material and learners in learning, making it easier to accept the concept of the material presented. Abstract

Perkembangan bahasa anak dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor, namun faktor yang paling mempengaruhi adalah faktor keluarga dan lingkungan. Orang tua harus pandai mendidik dan mengasuhnya, tetapi tidak semua orang tua peduli akan hal tersebut. Semua itu terjadi karena kesibukan dalam urusan pekerjaan membuat anak kurang mendapatkan hak yang seharusnya didapatkan dari kedua orang tuanya, sehingga tidak sedikit orang tua mengambil jalan pintas menitipkan anak tersebut kepada kakek dan neneknya yang seharusmya tidak lagi berurusan dengan anak yang berusia masih perlu kasih sayang dan perhatian orang tuanya. Tujuan penelitia guna mengetahui perkembangan bahasa anak yang terjadi pada SW dan KN, sebagai anak yang berbeda dengan teman seusianya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif menggunakan tiga teknik pengumpulan data, yakni 1.) Observasi terstruktur, 2.) Wawancara dan 3.) Triangulasi (gabungan), kemudian hasilnya dideskripsikan sesuai dengan hasil wawancara dan observasi. Hasil akhir analisis kasus tersebut yang disinkkronkan dengan menggunakan teori yaitu : 1.) Berdasarkan kasus SW, ia mengalami keterlambatan berkomunikasi khususnya berbicara yakni pada usia tiga tahun belum dapat berbicara seperti pada anak lainnya. SW hanya dapat menirukan suara musik sesuai dengan tinggi dan rendahnya nada yang dihasilkan dari suara gamelan, namun akhirnya saat duduk dibangku kelas satu Sekolah Dasar, ia mampu memainkan wayang kulit di atas panggung di depan penonton seperti ayahnya yang berprofesi dalang. 2.) Berdasarkan kasus KN, ia mengalami keterlambatan berkomunikasi yakni dalam berbicara pada usia delapan tahun mengalami kesulitan dalam pengucapannya. KN selalu terbolik-balik dalam penyebutan dan penyusunan SPOKnya. Bahkan pada usia tersebut ia masih duduk di bangku kelas satu Sekolah Dasar.
